RACE ONE Finding the ideal set up last start at Redcliffe, there was NO DOUBT (2) about the result as he landed the winning shot up the passing lane. Just a head behind HY VOLTAGE two starts back, he can look or the pegs here and with options thereafter finds the right conditions once again. CAMROLLER (1) chases the hat-trick and lands the gate to get the right peg line trip. A big winner first over at Redcliffe, he backed it up with victory in a second division qualifier last time after sitting in the trail and taking the closing shot. From the gate he can throw down the challenge. BE ROCK HARD (6) makes his Qld debut for Ron Sallis, arriving a last start winner all the way winner over 2130 at Gloucester Park in early September. With a quiet local trial, he stays under notice. MUMMYS BOY (3) fired out from gate 4 at Redcliffe last start over the sprint trip and kept the pace on throughout to claim a 4m margin. He will be close enough to feature again. SELECTIONS: NO DOUBT (2), CAMROLLER (1), BE ROCK HARD (6), MUMMYS BOY (3) SUGGESTED BET: NO DOUBT (2) to win
RACE TWO Taking good benefit from his first appearance in Qld, KARLOO BRADLEY (10) can look to capitalise second up where he strikes a race that should generate some early tempo. Runner-up to the subsequent winner SOEXTRA first up, he can track through from this gate. LITTLELIONELJAMES (1) eased from gate 3 into the running line last start at Redcliffe and with the closing speed as able to power over the top to victory. Placed his previous five in succession, he lands all the options and with good early hustle will be in a position to throw down a challenge. CHAINLINC (5) was a smart winner here four starts back when working home strongly over the concluding stages. Charging home two back when runner-up, he has podium claims. MY ULTIMATE BONDI (3) has had two runs back from a freshen, making some nice closing ground first up and then strong to the line last start behind ALTA REVELRY. His record on this deck is a query. SELECTIONS: KARLOO BRADLEY (10), LITTLELIONELJAMES (1), CHAINLINC (5), MY ULTIMATE BONDI (3) SUGGESTED BET: KARLOO BRADLEY (10) to win
RACE THREE With a big career PB victory scored here in early September from this same gate, AYE AYE CAPTAIN (1) looks to strike the conditions to replicate that win. Forget last start where he struck trouble, two back, he was making a late play when just 1m from the winner. This looks ideal. MAFFIOSO GIRL (8) was required to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked and fading in the closing stages. 3rd here three runs back after a similar trip from gate 6 and fishing 7m from the winner, she can enjoy the cosy trip here to issue a closing challenge. SOME GIRLS DONT (4) makes her first appearance in Aus after crossing the Tasman and joining the Rick Thurlow yard. With a handy trial in preparation, she stays under a watch. ARCHILLES (9) added another minor to the tally last start along the passing lane when holding 3rd over the 2138m behind CHAL BE. He can drop to the poles again here for an easy trip. SELECTIONS: AYE AYE CAPTAIN (1), MAFFIOSO GIRL (8), SOME GIRLS DONT (4), ARCHILLES (9) SUGGESTED BET: AYE AYE CAPTAIN (1) to win
RACE FOUR A winner here two starts back from this same gate, TINGE OF FEAR (1) was able to boot through off the arm and then pinch a leisurely 30 second opening quarter to take them all the way. Working hard in the run last start from gate 5, a return to the inside alley gives her the chance to capitalise. OUR AUNTY ASH (8) returns from a spell and lands the ideal gate to get the economical trip first up. A Redcliffe winner two starts back, her last run prior to the spell was when chasing from deep in the pack as DANCE IN THE SUN took the prize. She will be stalking for the gaps in the stretch. SHARP SHOOTER (7) was a winner at the mile two starts back where he held the trail from inside the second line and then made the closing shot a winner. 6m in arrears last start, he is a place hope. A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (2) has now had three runs back from a spell and improved at each outing. Eased from gate 5 last start before picking off some closing metres, she can bob up here. SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (1), OUR AUNTY ASH (8), SHARP SHOOTER (7), A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (2) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE FIVE Starting from inside the second line last start at Redcliffe, MASTER CHARLES (1) had the pocket trail before having to angle off the inside to avoid a tiring leader but had no response as CHEETAH LODGE pulled clear to a big win. Buried here three starts back, he has the early speed to make a play. CAPTAIN BREAVEHEART (7) has the wide gate owing to his own starting manners but has performed well from the carpark in previous appearances. Finding the B Qualy out of reach last start, he was game in defeat when sitting parked here three back. Limiting the workload midrace will be key. WHATA TERROR (10) did not have much go his way last start and was forced to retreat to find position. Chasing home behind the talented CHEER LEADER two starts back, he is in the mix. PEBBLE SANDS (8) has had his runs somewhat spaced but should enjoy the chance to get the easy trip in behind the speed here. Finding the line in good order last start when 7m away, he will probe. SELECTIONS: MASTER CHARLES (1), CAPTAIN BREAVEHEART (7), WHATA TERROR (10), PEBBLE SANDS (8) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-10
RACE SIX HIT THE TRACK (6) overcame the outside gate at Redcliffe three starts back and was able to make the closing shot a winning one. Placed in both attempts since the win, he has hit the board in 7 of his past 8 starts, the latest when runner-up after releasing the speed. In an open contest, he can arrive. BELLA BRONSKI (3) should relish the return to the front line after her past two have been from the second line. Wide off the track at Redcliffe two starts back in grabbing 2nd, she was in the trail over this trip last start as BRAEVIEW FELLA arrived. She has the early hustle to throw down the challenge. ALL THE FOURS (4) was required to do it tough last start when sitting parked and was able to fight on for the bronze when 8m from JAY TEE TYRON. He can descend on them with the right trip. FORGIVE ME (8) had the closing speed to arrive two starts back, sweeping home to take a 4m margin. Buried in the run last start before hitting the line smartly for 2nd, she will be probing. SELECTIONS: HIT THE TRACK (6), BELLA BRONSKI (3), ALL THE FOURS (4), FORGIVE ME (8) SUGGESTED BET: HIT THE TRACK (6) to win
RACE SEVEN Opening his account with a dominant victory two starts, QUEENSLANDER (4) settled in the trail before showing great acceleration to pull clear in taking a 9m winning margin. Grinding it out with a gritty 2nd behind the smart FREE THINKER, he positions inside his main rival in what looks a two-horse contest. WISPER A SECRET (5) has hit the board in all four career appearances, the latest when just a half-neck away in an NSW Breeders Challenge heat at Newcastle. A scratching from the semi-final, he lines up here where he was impressive in breaking the maiden two back and looms large. SHORT LEG SUE (6) had been building towards opening her account after placing in six successive outings. Finally breaking through last start, to take them all the way, another minor looks available. BURTON (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was making some metres in the closing stages to grab the bronze behind SHORT LEG SUE. He can find the poles early to search for a minor. SELECTIONS: QUEENSLANDER (4), WISPER A SECRET (5), SHORT LEG SUE (6), BURTON (2) SUGGESTED BET: QUEENSLANDER (4) to win
RACE EIGHT With a solitary win in 21 appearances here on the big deck, it might be a case of the set up LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3) for the 6YO here. Asked to work hard when parked last time out before wilting, it followed a similar trip two starts back. If he can get across to the poles, he might be able to pinch it. CIRCLE LINE (10) made the most of the inside alley at Redcliffe last start, burrowing through to hold and take them all the way. Beaten by a wide second line gate at Marburg two back, he was able to gran the bronze in a similar type of contest here three back. The gate stings but he can challenge. MAN OF ACTION (6) was driven tough last start and content to sit parked in a strong opening half in this grade, was able to out-stay them through a slogging last panel. He can press ahead again. HANDSOME HARRY (1) has 1 placing from his 13 attempts here at HQ but lands the gate for a soft trip this time. Down the line behind SIGNOR JUJON last start, when fresh, he can chime in here. SELECTIONS: LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3), CIRCLE LINE (10), MAN OF ACTION (6), HANDSOME HARRY (1) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE NINE Backing up from Tuesday where she was off the 50m tape, MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2) should appreciate a return to the front-line mobile conditions. Making a mess of the start on Tuesday, it followed successive victories, including over the mobile mile and she can gain redemption here. EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (1) was a winner on The Triangle two starts back after securing the easy trip in behind the speed and the darting along the passing lane to take the prize. A beaten fav last start over the mobile mile, she can secure the easy run before issuing the closing challenge. KENNY KEKO (5) is chasing down the hat-trick after successive victories at the 2138m trip from the tapes. Pressing on with it last start to take control and see it out with a 7m margin, she can feature. MILLY AN EYRE (3) was hemmed away against the poles last start when finishing midfield to end a seven-run streak of finishing in the money. Just a half-head away here two back, she will be thereabouts. SELECTIONS: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2), EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (1), KENNY KEKO (5), MILLY AN EYRE (3) SUGGESTED BET: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2) to win
RACE TEN
Huge in defeat last start, the smaller field should be a big bonus for HUMBLE LADD (6) following his last start 3rd. Making an error that saw him miss the start, he caught the field and then was wide off the track but still had the temerity to launch late to be under 2m from the winner. He can bounce back. SUGARINSPICE (3) had put together successive wins before errors have ended her chances at her past two outings. Looking to take the inside run at the 500 last start but shut out by the gap closing, it followed a galloping start from the tapes. A three-time winner from behind the start car, she can issue the challenge. RIGONDEAUX (1) overcame gate 6 at the mobile mile here three starts back when charging home in the closing stages to take a half-head margin. Beaten similar margins in both runs since, the inside alley can assist his claims. SELECTIONS: HUMBLE LADD (6), SUGARINSPICE (3), RIGONDEAUX (1) SUGGESTED BET: HUMBLE LADD (6) to win
