Gold Coast Turf Club meeting transferred to Beaudesert Race Club

Racing Queensland advises that the Gold Coast Turf Club's race meeting scheduled for December 24 has now been transferred to the Beaudesert Race Club.

The transfer follows an extension of the track refurbishment works, which are currently being undertaken at the Club. 

The venue change have necessitated amendments to some race distances on the program. They are:

• Class 5 Handicap - was 1700m, is now 1650m;
• Class 1 Plate  - was 1700m, is now 1650m;
• Maiden Plate - was 1350m, is now 1400m; and
• 3YO Maiden Handicap was 1700m, is now 1650m.
