Sunshine Coast Turf Club meeting transferred to Polytrack

Racing Queensland advises that after 68mm of rain overnight and 101mm of rain in the last seven days, today’s race meeting at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club has been transferred to the Polytrack.

The transfer of the meeting has necessitated some changes on the program. They are:

• Race 3 - Benchmark 65 Handicap – was 2400m, is now 2150m;
• Race 4 – Maiden Plate 1400m field limit reduced to 12; and
• Race 7 – Ratings Band 0-58 Handicap – was 1200m, is now 1100m and field limit reduced to 14.

The distances of all other races on the program remain as have been previously published.

Due to the transfer to the poly track there will be no fees charged for scratchings from today’s meeting.

Trainers with runners accepted are eligible to nominate for any other race where acceptances have not closed.

An updated acceptance sheet will be provided at approximately 8am.
