RACE ONE

STORMTIDE (5) was a winner from gate 3 here three runs back when able to find the front and take control for an all the way victory. Taken back and unable to work into it at his next start, he was just a head from the winner last time. He can get forward to stake his claim.

CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (1) attempted to lad throughout last start at this trip from this gate and wilted badly to be at the tail of the field. Runner-up her previous two with smother runs against the poles, a cheap trip can see her more effective in making career start 100 memorable.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) secured the pocket trail from this gate last start and darted through when the gap arrived to land victory. With the soft trip again, she will be ready to take her shot.

ASHLEE NITRO (3) found conditions to suit last start and sailed home over the top in the closing stages to score a 2m victory. Sliding into the running line cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: STORMTIDE (5), CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (1), LIFEINHEAVEN (7), ASHLEE NITRO (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

LETS BLAZE (7) should appreciate a return to The Triangle where he is a five-time winner. Midfield last start in a qualifier at headquarters, it followed a 3rd to SO MUCH MORE. A winner here three back when resuming from a spell, if he hits the lane with momentum, he will take some stopping.

IDEAL TIGER (8) was a winner here three starts back at the sprint trip when doing it the tough way to graft out a strong victory. Just 2m from the winner at his next start, he was runner-up last time when working home wide off the track. With the right trip, he can be issuing the challenge.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) tackled the AP 2138m last start where he was eased from gate 4 to secure position before making a closing play to grab 3rd, albeit 22m from the winner. The gate is a big plus.

COURAGEOUS SAM (2) settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line but just didn’t have the closing speed when finishing 2nd. He can do the work if needed to feature in this battle.

SELECTIONS: LETS BLAZE (7), IDEAL TIGER (8), OYSTER STRIDE (1), COURAGEOUS SAM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE THREE

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (2)
fired out from gate 3 here four starts back and from the front was never headed. Wide gates were his undoing at his next two and then he bounced back last start with a passing lane victory from inside the second line. He can fire the early bullets chasing the prize.

SIGNOR JUJON (5) has hit some form and chases down a hat-trick of victories. Overcoming gate 6 at the 2040m last start after easing early to secure position, it followed a win from the trail over the sprint trip. Despite the awkward gate, the threepeat is within reach.

MAJOR TRALEE (1) fired off the arm from gate 5 here two starts back and from the front was able to take them all the way. Beaten a pimple last start, he lands all the options to be right in the fight.

KUDOS MASON (8) was beaten by a wide gate last start after retreating from outside the front line and settling near the rear of the pack. Following though here can see him closer to the action.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (2), SIGNOR JUJON (5), MAJOR TRALEE (1), KUDOS MASON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (2) to win

RACE FOUR

THE GROGFATHER (4)
was sent around the field from a second line gate last start and sitting parked thereafter was fighting in holding on for the bronze. Too strong from the breeze the start prior when sent forward from this same gate, a return to the front line can see him be hard to hold out.

NO DOUBT (3) found the poles from gate 2 here two starts back and with the soft trip in behind the action had the closing speed to make his shot a winning one up the passing lane. Holding on for 3rd last start behind BETTOR JIGGLE, he can be near the action to make a challenge.

FAST TRACKER (1) has a tidy record on this deck from limited experience and is the early winner from the barrier draw. Chasing home from back in the pack over the AP mile last start, he can place.

MISTER DIAMOND (2) started inside the second line last start and was hemmed away and searching for gaps when 4m from THE GENERAL. He can look for early supremacy and is a threat thereafter.

SELECTIONS: THE GROGFATHER (4), NO DOUBT (3), FAST TRACKER (1), MISTER DIAMOND (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE GROGFATHER (4) to win

RACE FIVE

GOALKICKER (1)
set a slick tempo in front last start over the AP mile which resulted in her fading over the closing stages. Mixing her form this campaign, she lands the gate to get things back on track and as a ten-time winner on this deck, can take her opportunity.

HIGH ON MONTANA (9) had the closing speed to take the prize from this same gate two starts back when descending on the, in the closing stages. Pressing forward from gate 4 at the 2040m last start but unable to go with them over the latter stages, he looks better suited for this assignment.

MARIANNA BROMAC (2) used the passing lane for the silver here two starts back when within 2m of the winner after starting fav. Trying to make a closing raid last start, she is a podium hope again.

PURPLE SHADES (1) was a winner from this alley along the passing lane five runs back and has placed in three runs since the victory. Closing out from deep in the pack last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (1), HIGH ON MONTANA (9), MARIANNA BROMAC (2), PURPLE SHADES (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

VODKA EN ICE (1)
was asked to graft it out the tough way last time when sitting parked from gate 3 where he only felt the pinch in the closing stages behind ASHLEE NITRO. Snookered from a second line gate the start prior behind LIFEINHEAVEN, the conditions here look ideal for him to strike.

SHESHERZ (7) was looking to lead throughout last start and was giving plenty of cheek at big odds when grabbed in the latter stages by BETTOR KEEP ROCKING. With the offer of a cosy trip in behind the speed here, she can be searching for the openings to take the snipers shot.

SHORT LEG SUE (3) broke the maiden status two starts back when taking them all the way from gate 3. Well held last time behind QUEENSLANDER, she steps up against older rivals but is in the mix.

ARTFUL MASTER (6) should take plenty of benefit from his last start where he was first up in three years. Only fading late after setting the speed, the gate makes it a tough ask second up.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (1), SHESHERZ (7), SHORT LEG SUE (3), ARTFUL MASTER (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  VODKA EN ICE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

CANDY STRIPER (2)
was having just her fourth career start last time out where she was second up this campaign and looking for an all the way victory. Not receiving much peace in the early stages, she faded late as CORVETTE JOE took the prize. In a typically open maiden, she can breakthrough.

DELIGHT OF RANI (4) has only had 4 career starts, the last of those back in 2019. With 7 trials since that start and a change to the Jack Butler stable, she paced more tractably at the most recent hit out to take the trial. She stays under watch.

STUDLEIGH PATRICIA (5) caught the eye on debut after getting it all wrong but still finishing off in smart order. A beaten fav last start when second up, she can take further experience to feature.

STAR OF THE ARTS (1) was returning from almost two years off the scene last start when fading after a tough run. Freshened, she lands the good alley and with the right trip is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: CANDY STRIPER (2), DELIGHT OF RANI (4), STUDLEIGH PATRICIA (5), STAR OF THE ARTS (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

MATAI REACTOR (2)
was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when hemmed away from inside the second line when holding on for the bronze. A passing lane winner two back from gate 1, it followed a win from the running line and with the early speed of the front line a tough measure, he can bounce back in an open end to the quaddie.

LURKING (1) was stepping out in Qld for the first-time last start when asked to do it tough outside the leader. Grinding it out to be a narrow 2nd to THE MACH ARMY, the map is a concern on whether he can burrow through. From the front or the trail, he is still a challenging force.

GO JO JOLT (5) started from gate 5 last time out and was working home wide off the track when arriving for a narrow victory. The gate stings but she is a podium chance.

TULHURST CUDDLES (7) started from this gate last time and was quickly off the inside and sent around to sit parked. Hitting the board in 8 of 11 on this deck, she will be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (2), LURKING (1), GO JO JOLT (5), TULHURST CUDDLES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MATAI REACTOR (2) to win

RACE NINE

EASTBRO TEX (1)
settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line and when spotting the passing lane, was flat and couldn’t pick up. A beaten fav his precious two starts when starting in red figures on each occasion and setting the speed, he can look to open his Qld account in this.

GULMARG (8) settled in the trail last start from gate 1 and using the passing lane was making a closing raid to get within a half-neck of the winner SIGNOR JUON over the 2040m. 2m away in holding 3rd two starts back, he can look to charge hard to challenge.

WEASEL (2) moves to equal 3rd on the all-time starters list at what will also be his 300th appearance on The Triangle. Not suited last start from behind the leader, he was runner-up in successive starts prior and can feature once again.

FEEL THE THRILL (7) was trying to warm up in the closing stages last start when midfield to THE CROM. A cosy trip can be expected here as he searches for the openings.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (1), GULMARG (8), WEASEL (2), FEEL THE THRILL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: EASTBRO TEX (1) to win

RACE TEN

JAMAICAN RESORT (3)
was taken off the arm searching for position last start and was too far back when trying to get warm. Game in defeat when parked here two starts back and gripping on for the bronze, he can look to find the front from this gate and lighting the lamps will take some catching.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5) was a beaten fav last start from the second line when trying to chase as SIGNOR JUJON took the prize. Pressing on from this gate two starts back when fading late and finishing 9m in arrears of the winner STUDLEIGH WILL, he can make a challenge in this line up.

CANNAN (4) was too far back last start after easing from gate 6 searching for a spit. Grabbing 3rd here two back behind MISTER WOODPORT, he can get forward to feature.

CAMPBELL BEST (1) was first up from a spell here two starts back and releasing from this alley was able to grab the silver behind BERTILS FIREFOX. Not suited last start, this alley is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: JAMAICAN RESORT (3), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5), CANNAN (4), CAMPBELL BEST (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JAMAICAN RESORT (3) to win
