The Atherton Turf Club non-TAB race meeting on Saturday, January 14 has been abandoned due to weather and state of the track.
Approximately 70mm of rainfall has been recorded at the Morrow Park racecourse over the past week, and further rainfall today has made the track unsuitable for racing.
RQ will liaise with the race club regarding future options for a replacement date.
Due to the abandonment, an additional race – Rating Band 0-55 Hcp 950m of $18,000 – has been added to the Cairns Jockey Club TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, February 4.
