Racing Queensland advises that the Townsville greyhound race meeting for Friday February 17 has been abandoned due to the lure not being operational.
The repair of the lure has been delayed by the delivery of a part which is now expected in Townsville on Monday February 20.
The next race meeting in Townsville is Tuesday February 21. The nominations for this meeting close on Friday February 17 at 9am.
Due to the lost race meeting, a new race meeting has been scheduled at Townsville on Thursday February 23. The nominations for this meeting close on Tuesday February 21 at 9am. The first race will be 10.51am. Kennels open at 9.06am and close at 10.06am.
Furthermore, the nominations for Townsville on Saturday February 25 will now close on Wednesday February 22 at 9am.
