RACE ONE

MI FURIOSO TORO (2)
was in the middle of some early heat last start over the AP mile as they burned a sub 27 opener. Fading out as DATITUDE took the prize, a return to his format should suit his early power and with a smart record on this deck can look to capitalise.

FREE THINKER (6) resumed from a let up over the AP mile last time out when positioned on the poles from inside the second line, finishing 6m astern of the winner FOR REAL LIFE. Midfield in the NSW Derby Final two starts back, this is his first look at The Triangle.

FLO RYDA (3) has tackled this format on two previous occasions recording a win and 2nd. With second line gates at his past three starts, he can settle handy and be looking to have the fresh legs late.

SELECTIONS: MI FURIOSO TORO (2), FREE THINKER (6), FLO RYDA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MI FURIOSO TORO (2) to win

RACE TWO

It was a winning recipe last week with ARODA and trainer Grant Dixon will be looking to repeat it this week with BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (4). Both were last seen in a NSW Derby heat to then tackle the 947 fresh up. This guy trialled impressively on this deck in readiness and he can power home.

ARNOLD STREET (2) found the front from gate 5 last start and was trying to see it out when grabbed in the closing stages by subsequent winner LITTLE CHANGE. With good speed out of the machine, he can fire some early bullets searching for the top spot.

MOSSDALE MAC (6) is a one-time winner here at Redcliffe but lands another tough gate after facing a string of wide gates. He can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (4), ARNOLD STREET (2), MOSSDALE MAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (4) to win

RACE THREE

REDS STAR DEAL (4)
was closing out in good style up the stretch in a Trot Rods scamper two starts back when runner-up to BRONSKI DELIGHT and franked that effort with a slick win on the front end last time out. He can force the issue to get forward and look to repeat the performance.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) was a winner from gate 5 here two starts back when finding the pocket trail and owning the closing speed to score. Runner-up last time out when tackling the 2040 from this same alley after being sent out as fav, she can be tucked away in readiness for the passing lane.

GETALOADATHISBRO (5) is hitting some nice areas and takes his place here in search of three on the bounce and four from his past five. Charging late to score last start, the gate dents the chances.

AURORA FIG (8) found the 1x1 trail from gate 9 last start and chased hard for the bronze behind REDS STAR DEAL. She looks set to have to repeat that effort to chime in again.

SELECTIONS: REDS STAR DEAL (4), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1), GETALOADATHISBRO (5), AURORA FIG (8)
SUGGESTED BET: REDS STAR DEAL (4) to win

RACE FOUR

BATMAN BART (2) has hit some nice form and lines up here chasing a hat-trick of victories. Both wins have been from gate 4 where he has been able to get outside the leader and grind out the victories first over. He can force the issue from this gate and the threepeat looks on.

HIGH ON MONTANA (3) started from outside the second line at his last outing and was making good ground over the closing stages as the fav but ultimately finished out of the money. Within 6m of the winner two starts back over the AP 2138, he can settle close enough to challenge.

SUNRISE RUBY (6) has put together a beaut record on this deck, claiming three wins in four appearances. Down the line last start over the AP 2138, a return to The Triangle is a huge plus.

PARTY POLOTIX (1) grabbed 3rd up the passing lane over the middle trip at HQ two starts back and then at her last start could not cope from the breeze. With a soft trip, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: BATMAN BART (2), HIGH ON MONTANA (3), SUNRISE RUBY (6), PARTY POLOTIX (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BATMAN BART (2) to win

RACE FIVE

DOLLARBILL (6)
faced this same gate here last week when sent forward to sit parked after sent to the post as fav. Grafting it out to finish just out of the money, it followed a win over this trip where he bullied his way to the front. He can get forward again and is right in the fight.

FIVE STR GEM (1) secured the ideal trip in behind the leader from inside the second line here last start and using the passing lane had the closing speed to claim a 3m margin. Just a half-neck away the start prior, he lands the options to throw it down.

THE HARRIS HAWK (2) is still chasing his first win of the season, with his recent efforts suggesting it is not too far away. Making good ground last start from the second line, he can get handy here.

TULHURST CUDDLES (8) has placed at her past three in succession, the latest when making late metres for 3rd over the AP mile. Runner-up on this deck at her previous two, she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (6), FIVE STR GEM (1), THE HARRIS HAWK (2), TULHURST CUDDLES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLARBILL (6) to win

RACE SIX

SUNNY COVE (9)
looked a much more relaxed version of himself here last week when finding the front from gate 3 and in control was never in danger in scoring a 7m victory. The outside second line gate makes it a big ask, but if able to chase within himself, he is up to taking this.

SHORT LEG SUE (1) secures all the mapping favours and was an all the way winner here tow starts back when leading them up from this same gate and taking them all the way. Luckless last start from the second line when searching for clear track, she can look to make her own luck off the ace.

RAWROTH GIRL (6) is still on the ODM embargo but was strong to the line from this gate after retreating early last time out to be just 3m from the winner. Too strong here two back, she looms large.

VODKA EN ICE (7) tackled the AP 2138 last start when snagged back to find position but finished at the rear behind JAY TEE TYRON. A soft trip behind the speed is a big plus here.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (9), SHORT LEG SUE (1), RAWROTH GIRL (6), VODKA EN ICE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-6-7-9

RACE SEVEN

GEM PUNTER PETE (9)
was asked to do it the tough way on debut over the AP mile last time out, sent forward to sit parked from gate 6. With a steady middle half, he was able to grip on for the bronze as the leader and winner DELE ROW ripped home in 27.1. With added experience, he can arrive.

DOTELDO (3) is a Downbytheseaside filly trained by Steve Benham having her first race start. Out of the four-win mare Montana Rockstar, she has trialled well enough to suggest that she can be a factor in this line up.

SAMANTHA CEE (1) is one of four debutants in the field. The Changeover filly is trained by Jason Carkeet and has shown good manners in her trials in readiness for the debut. The gate is a plus.

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (7) was on debut last time out when using the passing lane to grab the bronze behind SKYGIRL. With another soft run in transit, he can be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: GEM PUNTER PETE (9), DOTELDO (3), SAMANTHA CEE (1), BLACKJACK CRIPPA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GEM PUNTER PETE (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

TORQUE IN CONTROL (1)
was angled to the poles last start from outside the second line and was searching for open space when ending just outside the money. With the arm hustle to burrow through here, there looks an absence of pressure which gives her the chance to see it out.

DINOSAURUS REX (8) faced gate 5 last week at his first run back in Qld and after being snagged back early, could have finished closer than the 2m margin if the gaps arrived in a timelier manner. Finishing 2m from the winner, he can trail through early again here to issue a challenge.

FEELING THE POWER (6) keeps racking up the placings, adding another 3rd here last week when trying to make a closing raid behind BETTING BARON. He will go back and chime in late again here.

LESVOS LAD (9) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating to secure position and from deep in the pack could not eat into the leader’s margin. With a better trail trip, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE IN CONTROL (1), DINOSAURUS REX (8), FEELING THE POWER (6), LESVOS LAD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE IN CONTROL (1) to win

RACE NINE

MAYWYNS LA NINA (8)
has placed in four of her five starts this season, the latest when just a half-head from ARODA over the 947 scamper. Runner-up her previous three in succession, including both the prelude and Final of the APG Bullion, this is a big class drop and she should be winning this.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2) was runner-up last start when trying to see it out on the front-end, only to be collared in the closing stages by FIVE STAR GEM. With the early hustle, she can look to take control early and be gripping on again.

MAJORMISS (1) tackled a Trot Rods event last start and was giving all the way, only beaten 1m behind WONDERWOMAN JUJON. With the gate benefit, she can feature.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (9) resumes from a spell after three early season starts saw her claim three successive placings. The gate makes it a tough ask first up.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYNS LA NINA (8), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2), MAJORMISS (1), HOLLYWOODBOUND (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYNS LA NINA (8) to win

RACE TEN

THIS YANKEE ROCKS (2) has faced the starter on three occasions and returns off a freshen in search of the maiden breaker. Making an early error before working hard in the run thereafter last time out, he has the gate to get forward and stake his claim for the account opener.

SWEET RIPPIN (5) was taken back last start from the wide gate and then never got warm over the closing stages as SKYGIRL proved too slippery. Asked to sit parked two runs back, she can look to issue the challenge despite the wide gate.

SAFETOSAYIMFANCY (7) is a 4YO mare by Sweet Lou on debut for Peter Greig. With a handy trial, she has peg benefits for her first race appearance.

FUNTIMES (1) is a 3YO filly by Guaranteed on debut for trainer Dudley Warburton. With some sound trial form, she has the gate to be in the mix first up.

SELECTIONS: THIS YANKEE ROCKS (2), SWEET RIPPIN (5), SAFETOSAYIMFANCY (7), FUNTIMES (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THIS YANKEE ROCKS (2) to win
