RACE ONE
THE CASUAL GOOSE (1) has drawn the ace on extremely limited occasions throughout his career. When he has previously drawn tight, he has been able to capitalise. Too tough for them last start from gate 6 when grinding it out first over, he can burrow through and see this out. BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) tackled a much tougher battle last time out when fading in the closing stages behind O B LEGAL. Eased from gate 4 to find the running line the start prior over the AP mile, he can follow through in the early stages here and look to issue a challenge. BEACH ON FIRE (2) released from gate 1 last start when finishing just out of the money. Wide off the track on the grass the start prior, he will be thereabouts again from this alley. DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (5) is on the back up from Sat night where she will contest a mare’s qualifier. Looking a place hope, she was a winner from the tapes here four back and has podium claims. RACE TWO CHOCOLATE NORMAN (9) made the most of gate 1 last time out, pressing through to hold then wide and then see it out from the front. Fading after sitting parked at Marburg the start prior, the second line makes it a tricky ask, but with the right trip he looks up to the task. DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (2) was a winner at Kilcoy two starts back when finding the front before releasing for the trail. Finding them a bit too slippery last start when midfield behind BORN TO WRITE, he can settle close to the action here to throw down a challenge. ASTROPHILIA (8) was buried away last time out from inside the second line and chased to be out of the money behind CHOCOLATE NORMAN. She can be making a late raid once again here. SUBTLE CHAY (4) was a winner from behind the tapes last start when overcoming the 10m impost to finish over the top. Back to mobile conditions, he can press forward to feature. RACE THREE ROLLED IN GOLD (4) has hit good form in recent outings, claiming three wins in her past four starts. Pressing on to take them all the way last start when deep into the red from gate 3 at this trip, she held on for an easy victory. Despite a tricky gate, she can take her shot here. DEVOUGED (7) will be further tightened from his latest appearance when second up from a spell and snagged back from gate 5 as ROLLE IN GOLD dictated. With the chance of the economical trip from the get-go, he can be tucked away and ready to issue a closing challenge. MISSTREPO (8) started from the second line over the AP mile last start and made some late metres when 8m astern of the winner. Chasing a hat-trick of wins in that contest, she can chime in here. TRALEE MAXIE (1) is chasing a hat-trick of victories after wins over the 1780 and then over the AP mile last time out. Scoring a career PB last start off cover, he has all the options here. RACE FOUR
IT AINT ROYAL (1) was first up for the new stable last start when starting as fav and sent to the front from gate 2. Trying to see it out, he faded to miss the money as THE CASUAL GOOSE proved too strong. From gate 1 and with less pressure this time, he can dictate. SPORTY AZZ (7) grabbed 3rd on the kikuyu at Kilcoy two starts back, working home wider off the track. Hanging tough last start to get withing a half-neck of the winner, he should secure the perfect trip to stalk the speed and take the closing shot on them here. TAPTHEKEG (5) eased to the poles last start and made a late play to grab the silver behind GETALOADATHISGIRL at Kilcoy. The gate makes it a tough ask here. MISS PAU (9) did not have the smoothest passage last start when grabbing the bronze behind THE CASUAL GOOSE. Look for her making a late play in the closing stages here. SELECTIONS: IT AINT ROYAL (1), SPORTY AZZ (7), TAPTHEKEG (5), MISS PAU (9) SUGGESTED BET: IT AINT ROYAL / SPORTY AZZ (1/7) quinella

RACE FIVE JANG PEL (2) was safely into stride from the front tape last start when looking to lead throughout but could not put them away. Holding on for the silver as WOODLEA DIEGO took the prize, he was strong to the line from gate 7 over the AP mile the start prior. He looks to get every chance here. JILLIBY GIZMO (1) released from this same gate last start and could not go with them over the closing stages as CHRONICLES took the prize. Still chasing his first win of the year as he approaches 12 months without a victory, he lands the gate and map to make a play for the prize. MAN OF ACTION (7) will be tucked away with the economical trip from this gate, searching for the gaps to chime into the money. FUNNILY ENOUGH (4) was taken back from gate 5 last start and tried to make ground from deep field when down the line behind FINANCIALLY STABLE last start. This is an easier contest, and he looms large. SELECTIONS: JANG PEL (2), JILLIBY GIZMO (1), MAN OF ACTION (7), FUNNILY ENOUGH (4) SUGGESTED BET: JANG PEL (2) to win
RACE SIX FEELIN FLIRTY (8) overcame gate 9 here last start when sent around the field in the early stages to get outside the leader and despite the tough run was able to graft out a starchy victory. The second line likely sets it up for him to get around them again here, but this is no harder and he can repeat. WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7) found the ideal set up here two starts back and despite doing it tough, was able to pull clear over the closing stages to claim an 11m victory. A beaten fav last start when starting odds-on, she will be tucked away, probing for the gap to challenge. CIRCLE LINE (1) was a smart winner at Marburg two starts back when sent forward from the wide gate and from the front was able to see it out. Gunned down last start, he will fight hard as always. RACE SEVEN WHATA CHALLENGE (9) was a Marburg winner from the second line three starts back when finishing best to grab a narrow victory. At the tail in bot starts since that victory, he has been freshened and finding a wide open contest where the entire field is chasing form, he might just be the one. FORTYFIVE ROCK (3) set the tempo here two starts back and was trying to fight them off when finishing with the bronze, 11m from the winner BEEF CITY STARZZZ. Beaten by the second line last start, he can get across to set the tempo and from the front will give them the target. GHOST TRAIN (5) faded out here two starts back as TRACER BULLET darted through along the passing lane to score. Backing up from Friday at HQ, he can grab a minor cheque here. SONNY ORLANDO (7) started from this same gate and was soon shuffled back in the pack last start when midfield behind THREE MACHS. He will be probing for openings again here. SELECTIONS: WHATA CHALLENGE (9), FORTYFIVE ROCK (3), GHOST TRAIN (5), SONNY ORLANDO (7) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE EIGHT CRIME BOSS (7) will take benefit from his latest start when resuming from a spell and showing some early hustle from gate 4 in chasing a position. If the factors are in his favour and the pole marker can repel the early challengers, he might just hold the last race Monday night raffle ticket. TAKIDAH (1) made an error soon after the field was released last start at Kilcoy and was never in the call. Striking trouble in a standing start show final two runs back, he should appreciate the chance to tuck in behind the speed here and look to make a challenge. MAMMALS DESTINY (5) has no favours from the wider gate but in a wide open contest, she is going no worse than any of her opponents. Midfield from outside the second line last start, she has claims. LORD DENZEL (6) was buried in the run last start and never got warm as CHRONICLES pulled clear to a big victory. In the second half of the pack two starts back behind CANNAN, he can chime in. SELECTIONS: CRIME BOSS (7), TAKIDAH (1), MAMMALS DESTINY (5), LORD DENZEL (6) SUGGESTED BET: CRIME BOSS (7) to win
