RACE ONE
FEISTYNFEARLESS (1) rolled forward from gate 4 to sit parked last start over the AP mile and was in the fight most of the trip as MAC OREILLY charged hard to score. Almost seeing it out three starts back when nabbed in the last stride, she can burrow through and gets a chance to open the account. CRADOCK (6) has placed at his past two as he continues to chase the chance to escape maiden ranks. Just a half-neck away last start when settled in the trail from gate 4, he sat parked two back when holding 3rd. The wide gate makes it a tough ask to issue the challenge. MY ULTIMATE RYANO (2) set the speed last start but was unable to finish them off when fading late to finish rearward. With his first look at The Triangle, he can be in the mix. JUSTCALLMENITRO (7) has the second line options as the lone runner out the back but should be securing the economical trip from this alley. With the easy trip, she is a podium hope. RACE TWO
MAKE IT RAIN (2) made good improvement from his debut performance to his second up run, finishing just a head from the winner last time. He will see the mobile arms for the first time under race conditions after facing the second line at both runs to date and further improvement is a plus. DEEP REGRET (1) held the 1x1 trail last start and was just out of the money as MAC OREILLY descended on them to score. Angled to the poles here two starts back and not finding the gap when needed, he can get the ideal trip here to throw down a challenge. ALWAYS EXLUSIF (5) was making some nice metres in the latter stages here two starts back when grabbing the bronze. Fading after a tough trip last start, she can feature in this. BREEZE ON BYE BYE (7) should secure a nice trip from this alley which can help her chances of a minor placing. Midfield from this gate two starts back, she will be probing. RACE THREE
BAD BOY BORIS (2) faced a second line gate last start and was strong to the line to be just a head from the winner GLENLEA BELLA. Taking good benefit from that run where he was first up in nine months, he lands the gate to be handy to the action and finds the right race to capitalise. KISS ON THE BEACH (4) is a big query runner, coming into this race first up since April 2021. Striking an issue in that last start, which was her only Qld appearance, she has had a solitary trial in readiness for the return when not asked for too much. She stays under notice fresh up. HEY DUDE (1) was first up from a freshen when taking his first look at this deck last start, finishing best of the rest behind the big winner BORN TO WRITE. The gate is a huge asset. HOLLYWOODBOUND (3) was beaten by the outside second line last start when working home wide off the track. Fitter for the run as she was resuming from a spell, she is a place hope. RACE FOUR
SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (6) eased from a wide gate to settle rearward last time out before coming with the well-timed run to cruise past and claim a 6m margin. Grabbing the bronze two starts back, with the right tempo she can be looking for the repeat performance. MISS PAU (2) has been runner-up at her past three in succession, the latest when looking to see it out in front. With margins of 1m and 3m on two occasions the deficit, she has the gate to be handy enough to throw it down again. MY CHINA DOLL (7) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sent to sit parked and finishing midfield behind SUBTLE ADVICE. A soft trip is on offer and she will be searching for the openings. WHATA REACTOR (5) can mix her form and last start faded out of play to finish at the rear. That had followed a win from the trail, defeating a subsequent winner. A bounce back would not surprise. FIVE STAR GEM (8) was content to sit parked from gate 3 over the sprint trip here two starts back and despite the tough trip was able to graft out the win with a neck to spare. Chasing from the trail in a strong closing half last start, he can get the right early trail to cash in. BETTING BARON (1) held the trail from inside the second line last start when finishing with the silver behind COURAGEOUS LEO. Tough gates have dented his hopes in the three runs prior and with the options from this gate where the distance should be no concern, he can issue the challenge. SAILALONG SINBAD (9) sat in the trail last start over the AP mile and was best of the chasing pack to hold the silver behind RIPPIN RUPERT. A six-time winner on this deck, he can be chiming in. ALTANA BLUE (2) was buried in the run last start over the AP mile after starting from inside the second line. Asked to hang tough two starts back, he can flash some arm speed to feature. RACE SIX
CHIEF JUJON (4) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating in the early stages before launching a claim wide off the track to finish 5m from the winner DIPPED IN SIVLER. Gunned down in front two starts back when trying to see it out from this same gate, he can go one better this time. FUNNILY ENOUGH (8) was sent around them early from a second line gate here three runs back and was fighting to the wire in holding on for 2nd. With his past two assignments at HQ, he returns to The Triangle and can look for the trail to issue a challenge. OUTER CHANGE (3) made some late metres two starts back to grab the bronze when 4m from the winner FEELING THE POWER. Unable to get warm last start, she has podium claims here. JANG PEL (5) held on for 3rd last start, albeit a big margin from the winner. Chasing from the pocket trail two starts back, the gate is not ideal but he can make a closing raid for a minor. RACE SEVEN
SHADYS CULLECT (1) was trying to make metres along the passing lane two starts back when holding on for the bronze behind REDS STAR DEAL after starting from inside the second line. Making the most of this gate at this trip last start to take them all the way, she can look to replicate. MIGHTY GEORGE (5) has been in nice touch in recent times and had the closing speed last start to descend on them to arrive for a head margin. Taking them all the way from gate 1 four runs back, he has the versatility to find position and issue the challenge. CHEETAH LODGE (6) settled in the running line from a second line gate last start and grabbed the bronze behind HES SWEET. The gate makes it a tough ask, but he can be rattling late. BETTYS GOLD CLASS (7) made the most of gate 1 to take them all the way three starts back and then last start overcame a second line gate to arrive. Tucked away, she will be probing for openings. SHEREACTS (1) settled in the 1x1 trail and finished midfield last start in a mare’s qualifier when chasing home behind the in-form GOLDIES A DELIGHT. Runner-up in that grade three runs back behind MERRY DANCER, she has the gate to dictate. SUBSTITOOTH (9) was sharper last start when sent forward to sit parked from this same gate and after the tough trip was still giving to the wire when finishing just a neck short of the prize. He will need to be wide again at some stage here but will be up to the challenge. MOTU CULLEN (6) had this same gate last start and was strong to the line wide off the track despite not receiving a smooth passage. A tough trip two starts back , he is not out of this. ROLLED IN GOLD (4) was deep field last start in a mare’s qualifier and trying to make late ground when finishing midfield. Striking trouble two starts back, she can be chiming in here. RACE NINE
MAYWYN TROUBADOR (3) started from outside the second line last start and was sent around them to sit parked, fading late after the tough trip. Holding on for 3rd two starts back when faced with an inside second line gate, he can take his shot for the front where he does his best work. THUNDAMENTAL (1) held on for the bronze here three starts back from the inside gate over the AP mile when taking the trail and then using the passing lane to finish 2m astern of the winner. An outside second line gate was a hurdle too high last start, with a return to the front in his favour. SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (6) tackled a strong 3YO contest last start where he found FOR REAL LIFE too slippery. Taking them all the way on this deck two starts back, the wide gate makes it an ask. NEVADA YANKEE (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating to the rear and then unable to find clear space. With the chance for an economical trip, he will be probing.
