Gold Coast Turf Club meeting transferred to Polytrack

Racing Queensland advises that the Gold Coast Turf Club race meeting programmed for Saturday, April 6, has been transferred to the Polytrack to facilitate completion of works on the course proper.

The change has necessitated amendments to some races and distances on the program.  They comprise:

• Class 3 Handicap, 1400m, is now Benchmark 65, Handicap, 1540m ($28k);
• Benchmark 65 Handicap, 1800m, is now Benchmark 60 Handicap, 1900m ($28k);
• Benchmark 62 Handicap, 1000m, is now Benchmark 62 Handicap, 1050m ($28k);
• Ratings Band 0 – 58 Handicap, 1700m, is now Benchmark 55 Handicap, 1540m ($28k);
• Maiden Handicap, 1800m, is now 1900m ($30k);
• Maiden Handicap, 1200m, remains unchanged ($30k);
• 3yo Maiden Plate, 1400m, is now 1200m ($30k);
• Class 1 Handicap, 1200m, ($28k) has been added.
