A mixed maiden to open a rare Thursday from The Creek where CAPTAIN BART (3) might just have found the conditions to arrive. Runner-up last start behind BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY, he was runner-up on debut behind REDS ABLAZE. This looks well within his reach.

WHERE THE BOYS ARE (10) was first up in Qld last start when making a mess of things early and ending all chance as the red figure fav. Luckless thereafter when trying to make some ground, if she can get it right, she can issue a challenge.

DENIS THE PUNTER (2) has the race experience to call on after 28 previous attempts at getting a W on the board. Runner-up two starts back at Marburg, he can be in the mix from this gate.

ULTIMATE ARK (1) is an Ohoka Punter 2YO on debut for Grant Dixon that has trialled in sound order and lands the right gate to feature.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (8) struck trouble last start at Redcliffe to end her chances when down the line. Runner-up in all three prior starts, including a tidy effort on this deck when under 2m from the winner. Just needing some factors in her favour from this gate to challenge.

LETS GET SHORTY (1) eased for position last start and from the running line was in the second half of the pack behind CONVINCED. Runner-up here two back from this gate, he is in the mix.

SHEZ GOT BLING (5) was working home wide out at Redcliffe last start when grabbing the bronze. Just a head away here three starts back, she can be chiming in late in this.

A tricky race here but one that should generate some good early heat for this grade. MULLUM HANK (10) will be suited if that does eventuate, and he may secure the right cart home. Runner-up to the impressive BIRKIRKARA last start, he finds the right race to capitalise.

MUSIC MOTH (1) was asked to grind it out for the one lap blitz at Redcliffe last start and was just 1m from the winner MAYWYN BONTON BOY. Holding on for 3^rd here three starts back from this gate, she is slick off the arm and gets her chance to throw it down.

ROYAL PRINCESS (4) secured the ideal trip in the trail here last start and was able to hold on for the silver behind ETERNAL GOLD. A Redcliffe winner four back, her won conversion here is a concern.

ARTS PEREGRINE (9) tackled a Trot Rods scamper two starts back when grabbing the bronze and then last start was sent out as fav when missing the money. The right trail will help here.

RACE FOUR

Buried in the run last start at Redcliffe, ROCKSLIDE (3) was strong to the line in the closing stages to grab 2^nd behind REASON TO BE which cleared out for a big win. With most of his recent racing on The Triangle, he finds the right opponents to tackle in this contest.

SHEREACTS (7) has been a model of consistency but has been unable to land a winning blow. Placed her past six in succession, she has been costly, going under as the fav in her past four in succession, despite never being that far from the winner. She can challenge again.

COSMIC FLYER (9) was resuming from a spell last start and sent to the post as fav, never really got warm in finishing near the rear. He can look to turn it around here.

STUDLEIGH MARK (2) was resuming from a spell last start when runner-up at Marburg from inside the second line. With early speed, he can feature.

BLISSFULL IDENTITY (6) takes his first look at The Creek after racing in good touch around Redcliffe in recent outings. Taking them all the way over the 1780 two starts back, he was asked to graft it out first over last start when holding on for 2^nd. He can throw it down again here.

ON DA NOD (7) is another taking his first look at the big deck and might just appreciate the wider expanses that it offers. Strong to the line last start, he can defy the gate to feature.
 
CHARLIE CHUCKLES (10) made a strong move from the 600 last start to loom up and was giving to the wire when just a half-neck away. He can be joining in again.

MASTER CHARLES (1) found the poles and took cover from gate three last start and with the perfect trail trip was able to dart through on the passing lane to score. A winner at four of his past six starts, he secures the ideal gate to issue the challenge.

BETTING ORIGIN (4) was snookered on the fence last start when 6m from FREE THINKER which carved it out in front. He can get forward to feature in this line up.

ELOUISA DALE (8) will be securing the economical trip against the poles and just needs the space in the closing stages to make a podium play.

CONGO LINE (6) has bene in super order since returning from a spell for Matt Elkins and is in search of the hat-trick. Darting up the passing lane at his return to score, he was set alight at the 650 last start and charged hard and pulled clear for a stylish win. The threepeat is within reach.

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (3) had his chances expire with an error last start which followed a tough trip when parked outside BOBBY WATERHOUSE. With the right trip he can feature.

CHAMONIX (1) secured the ideal trip in behind the speed here last start when holding on for the silver behind ELLIS STREET. A similar trip here can return a similar result.
