RACE TWO

MAYWYN BONTON BOY (2)
possesses good speed out of the machine and from this gate can look to get across first. Holding on for the bronze behind the talented HOT ROD HARRY last start, the 2138 proved a hurdle too high two starts back. This format looks to suit ideally.

MUSIC MOTH (5) sat back in the pack from outside the second line last start and was never a factor thereafter. Trying to see them off from the front over the AP mile when 3rd behind ROCKON ROCKY two starts back, she can fly the gate and the shorter trip will suit.

RISK TAKER (6) was searching for the gaps last start over the middle trip at HQ when 3m from the winner KASH TIN. If they burn too many tickets in the early stages, he can cash in when it matters.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN BONTON BOY (2), MUSIC MOTH (5), RISK TAKER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN BONTON BOY (2) to win

RACE THREE

TINSEL TIARA (1)
powered up in the early stages from outside the second line two starts back and finding the front was then able to pull clear to a big margin. Not suited last start when parked, she can look to bounce back here on the front end.

FAVREAU (5) was a winner here three starts back when firing out from gate 1 to dictate. Placed in both subsequent appearances, he sat parked last start after rolling forward from this same gate to be just 3m astern of the winner. He can look to defy the map once again.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (2) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when looking for an all the way effort from gate 1 over the 2040. Back to the sprint will help.

ADRENALINE RUSH (8) sat in the trail last start when 8m from the winner LONDON LADY. Down the line in a mare’s qualifier the start prior, she can follow through to fill the podium.

SELECTIONS: TINSEL TIARA (1), FAVREAU (5), OCTOBER RACKETEER (2), ADRENALINE RUSH (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

MILLIEWOOD (2)
struck trouble last week when tackling a Trot Rods sprint which had followed a 2040 trip where she was put out of play. With both her career victories coming when leading throughout here on The Triangle, she can get forward to chase a third.

EXPLANATION NOTED (1) eased from gate 5 last start and was able to slide through along the inside and using the passing lane was 6m from the winner. Not too far from LORD MEMNOCK the start prior, she has all the options here to challenge.

MAYWYNS LA NINA (5) eased from gate 5 last start and then never got warm over the closing stages. Strong to the line here three starts back for the silver, she can chime in.

BERTILS FIREFOX (4) found the early speed to slippery last week in a Trot Rods scamper when down the line. A winner at both previous outings, he can bounce back to feature in this.

SELECTIONS: MILLIEWOOD (2), EXPLANATION NOTED (1), MAYWYNS LA NINA (5), BERTILS FIREFOX (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MILLIEWOOD (2) to win

RACE FIVE

WAR CLUB (5)
is the perfect two from two since arriving with the Jonah Hutchinson team, winning off speed over the sprint trip and from the front over the 2040. This will be the next step up, but he looks to have the form on the board to complete the threepeat.

ISLA AND ADDIE (2) was a winner from gate 1 here three starts back when sent to the front and seeing them off with 3m to spare. Luckless from the second line at her next outing, she was making some late metres behind MY GIRL MANDY last start and from the gate throw it down.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (4) could not go the speed in a sizzling Trot Rods sprint last week. A gritty winner when parked at the 1780 three back, he can roll forward to feature.

OUR UNCLE LES (7) eased last start and was in deep field and never in the mix last time out. With the chance of a soft trip behind the speed, he can finish closer in this.

SELECTIONS: WAR CLUB (5), ISLA AND ADDIE (2), CHANCELESS CENTURY (4), OUR UNCLE LES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WAR CLUB (5) to win

RACE SIX

BREEZE ON BYE BYE (2)
took the trail last start and finished down the line behind the in-form WAR CLUB. Buried away two starts back when making some closing metres behind BERTILS FIREFOX, she can be handy enough and finds the right opposition to capitalise.

FEELING THE POWER (5) was well held when finishing midfield behind the clear out winner CHOC A BLOCK here last week. Making late metres the start prior when 5m adrift of the winner, he can get forward for position in this line up and throw down a challenge.

OFFICE BAD BOY (8) should appreciate a return to this grade after tackling some stiffer opposition at his past two. With the right cart into the contest, he can feature.

UNDERTHEKILT (3) was a winner from the second line here four starts back when finishing over the top. Unplaced in all three since, he finds conditions to fill the money.

SELECTIONS: BREEZE ON BYE BYE (2), FEELING THE POWER (5), OFFICE BAD BOY (8), UNDERTHEKILT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BREEZE ON BYE BYE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

SUNNY COVE (4)
was not helped by a wide trip and a flat tyre last start when finishing down the line. Covering plenty of The Triangle two starts back when wide the last lap but labouring, he finds the right conditions here to turn his numbers around.

ARKUNA (7) will strip fitter following her last start where she was first up from a spell without a public trial. Gate 6 did not make the task any easier while she finished her last campaign with three successive 2nd place finishes. From the gate she will be probing for the openings.

BOAK (3) was first up for the new stable last start when sent out as the fav over the AP mile and finishing down the line. Taking benefit from his first outing in six months, he can be sharper.

THE BLUE WREN (2) was only 3m from the winner CALL ME TRISH two start back and could have been closer with a clearer passage. Fresh up here, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (4), ARKUNA (7), BOAK (3), THE BLUE WREN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

DIPPED IN SILVER (8)
has placed just once in six attempts at the trip but strikes a race where many of these are going to be asked a question by the distance, they don’t have an answer for. Holding 3rd behind the clear out winner CHOC A BLOCK last start, he can descend on them.

CRIME BOSS (5) eased from gate 6 over this trip last start and in the closing stages was making good metres to grab the bronze when under 2m from the winner. Runner-up from the trail the start prior, he has placed his past five in succession, all on this deck, and can challenge again.

MATAI REACTOR (7) will be searching for gaps and if able to spot an opening with track to play with, can be joining in.

HEAVENS BABY (2) started from inside the second line last start when buried in the run and finishing down the line behind WAR CLUB. Placed her only attempt at the trip, the gate helps.

SELECTIONS: DIPPED IN SILVER (8), CRIME BOSS (5), MATAI REACTOR (7), HEAVENS BABY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DIPPED IN SILVER (8) to win
