RACE 1 

OUR UNCLE LES (2) took the lead last start and was just run down late by Matai Reactor, if he can find the lead will take beating. 

SPELLMAKERS CHARM (6) two runs back from a spell have been well below her best, third up from a spell looks a race she’s capable of taking out at her best. 

SHE OWNS THE DAY (5) over raced when in behind the leader last start, will likely appreciate a step back to the 1780. 

MISS PAU (9) tackled the Garrards Showcase Heat and Final her last two starts recording a good second two back, likely to be thereabouts again.

RACE 2

ART ON FIRE (2) could only manage fifth as favourite last time out behind Rock Hammer, recorded a strong second in his previous start leading over the 2040 trip and can prove hard to catch again if able to lead.  

EURO BEAT (5) closed off strongly last start when the race was all over in a slick time for the 2040, can finish off strong again. 

ROCKNROLL TIMES (1) is a horse with brilliant gate speed and dictates the early map in this race, with a query over the 2280 trip he may elect for cover in this race. 

JOHNSON STEP (8) recent runs have been much nearer his best, good run last start when only seeing clear running late in the race.

RACE 3

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6) was impressive in defeat after looming up outside of Sheeza Cracker, looks one of the main contenders again. 

ORIONS WILDSIDE (9) ran on strongly late three runs ago over the 2040, her last two efforts have been well below that run. She can bounce back. 

ROLL ONE OVER (1) drops in grade into this race with a 5 point claim and draws gate 1, looks a likely improver. 

KHULAN KID (8) comes into this race third up after two modest efforts first and second up, can improve in what looks an easier race.

RACE 4 

MUSIC MOTH (4) is having her first start for the Jack Butler stable, trialled up reasonably and has very good gate speed which will likely see her in front. 

THE HARRIS HAWK (5) won well last start after zipping around to the breeze mid race and pulling away in the concluding stages. 

THE GROGMOTHER (3) closed off strongly two runs ago after challenging for the lead in the early stages, can settle up close in this. 

SHE DAZZLES (2) got back towards the rear of the field in a race over the 2040 last start, likely to position up much closer in this and steps back to the 1780 which looks suitable.

RACE 5

EPIC ORION (8) returned from a spell with a good second behind Mynamesevan, can look to go one better. 

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (4) closed off strongly late last start, racing well. 

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (6) has been racing in strong company, may find this slightly easier. 

ROSARITO (1) is not quite racing up to his best at the moment, but is aided by the ideal draw in this race.

RACE 6 

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (6) shuffled back last start, didn’t hit the line overly strongly but this does look a slightly easier assignment in this race. 

OLD ENGLISH (7) first up from a spell last start was able to lead most of the way, should be better for the run. 

FORTYFIVE ROCK (8) ran a good, albeit distant second to Call Me Trish two runs ago. Should get a soft run early. 

DOC HARVEY (5) took on a better race last start, was well beaten there but should find this easier.

RACE 7

HIGHLY RESPECTED (9) was able to put back-to-back wins together three runs ago, has since gotten back and been doing her best work late. Would be suited by a genuine tempo. 

AUNTY FRANCES (7) could secure a soft run in this race. 

ONE CHAIN ROAD (3) closely off strongly late last start, looks one of the main chances. 

GOTTA DREAM (1) showed gate speed last start and wasn’t able to find the front, dictates the early map in this race. 

SELECTIONS: HIGHLY RESPECTED (9), AUNTY FRANCES (7), ONE CHAIN ROAD (3), GOTTA DREAM (1)

RACE 8

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (8) first up for new trainer last start Trent Moffat, closed off strongly into second. 

NIGHT SHADOW (5) raced towards the rear of the field in his last two outings and hasn’t made much impression late, this looks easier.

FLOORLESS (9) never far away this mare, honest fourth last start after racing wide a lot of the way. 

FRAME DRIVE (7) faces a potentially tricky draw, ran well two runs ago before locking wheels last start.

RACE 9

DEVOUGED (6) battled on well last start after being forced 4 wide off the track when making his run last start. 

CONVAIR HUSTLER (5) forced wide in the concluding stages last start, has gate speed and may look to push forward early. 

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) didn’t have the clearest passage in the concluding stages last start, looks to get a soft run in this.

PENNIES FOLLOWING (1) showed gate speed last start before finishing off moderately in the concluding stages.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (6) worked to the front last start and ran a bold race, looks the right race to be driven aggressively again. 

TAKIDAH (1) showed moderate gate speed at times, if she can hold a position early she looks one of the main hopes. 

SPORTY AZZ (3) raced behind the leader last start and battled on fairly, this looks easier. 

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (8) beaten big margins his last three starts, he may be an improver here fourth up.
