RQ advises there were insufficient nominations to conduct heats of the Qld Distance Championship.
As such a prelude for the nominated greyhounds will be conducted on Thursday, August 1.
The final will now be staged as a one-off event on Thursday, August 8.
The nomination closing date for the final is Monday, August 5, at 9am. The eligibility conditions remain unchanged. Trainers are required to re-nominate for the final.
RQ will accept fresh nominations. The original acceptors for the heats will be given first preference in the order of entry.
