Form Analysis: Redcliffe - 4 September

RACE 1 

IM BOO (2) was in outstanding form leading into a last start failure. He is a bold front running type and is likely to bounce back if able to find the front. 

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7) looks likely to secure a soft trip in the last and can figure if the race is run to suit. In good form. 

STOMPEM (1) is a horse that generally looks for a trail having not lead and held the lead in a race since early January this year despite drawing gate one nine times since. 

MAJIC MOMENT (5) drops in grade having contested an up to 70 race last time out won by Congo Line. 

SELECTIONS: IM BOO (2), BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7), STOMPEM (1), MAJIC MOMENT (5)

SUGGESTED BET: STOMPEM (1) to place. 

RACE 2 

THERESACHANCE (2) gets back to Redcliffe where he has a great record. Can likely find the top and give them something to catch. 

ARTISTIC SAINT (7) has been running on well late in recent starts. This looks a draw where he can do similar again. 

OCTOBER RACKETEER (1) draws a good gate and can likely turn his form around obtaining a suitable trip. 

TRALEE MAXIE (3) struggled to find clear running late last start and finished off reasonably once clear.

SUGGESTED BET: THERESACHANCE (2) to win. 

RACE 3

JESSEJAMES SHANNON (7) can’t be overlooked after a dominant win last start over the middle trip. Can go on with it. 

KHULAN KID (4) made an unsuccessful challenge for the early last start and tired late having worked hard. Can bounce back. 

MISSTREPO (6) generally very competitive in this type of grade. 

MAJOR LINCOLN (3) came off the pegs in the early stages last start and was a good run into fourth with the first three home all racing on the pegs.

RACE 4 

SCORES (1) was able to win two back when leading all of the way. A similar effort would likely see him very hard to beat again. 

THE HARRIS HAWK (7) was forced very wide last start in the concluding stages. A few weeks between runs he may be better for that effort. 

SNIP OF BEAUTY (8) has options in the early stages. 

WAR CLUB (6) was able to run over the top late last start in a race the tempo was on early. Can look to do similar again.

RACE 5

DONT FEAR FOR ME (1) was able to lead all the way two starts ago. With the aid of the inside draw at the 2040 start point he may be able to do the same again. 

GINA DEL RAY (5) was doing her best work late last start when finishing off strongly.

MEGA STAR (4) didn’t have much luck last start when tightened at a crucial stage before being dragged out of the race. 

BLACKJACK BETH (7) can obtain a suitable run. Looks a chance if things go her way in the run.

SUGGESTED BET: GINA DEL RAY (5) to win. 

RACE 6 

GOTTA DREAM (9) is in great form having scored two of his past four runs. Can go close again. 

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (3) lead for most of the way last start and was just run down late. 

SALS LAST BLAST (1) draws to get plenty of favours in the run. Can figure in the minor money. 

DIPPED IN SILVER (6) was suited by a strong tempo last start but scored impressively and a similar effort would be competitive again.

RACE 7

ANTETOKOUNMPO (4) raced in strong company when last in QLD. Draws to advantage over his main rivals and appears a race well within his grasp. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (9) closing in on a win and draws to do no work in the early stages in this race. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (6) has gone forward in his last two starts and failed to finish it off as well as he can. Driven for his sit sprint capabilities he can bounce back. 

OLD ENGLISH (8) returns having not raced for over a month. Should be thereabouts if ready to go.

SUGGESTED BET: ANTETOKOUNMPO (4) to win. 

RACE 8

MARKSMAN (1) lead for nearly all the way last start before hanging up the track late and presenting the gap to the winner. A similar effort would see him hard to beat. 

NUCLEAR BLING (7) has been racing consistently and draws to get plenty of favours in this race. 

FANTASY BLASTER (4) over raced badly last start and tired late. Can figure if able to recapture her prior form. 

OUR UNCLE LES (8) drops in grade and draws to do no work in the early stages.

RACE 9

OUR AUNTY BELMA (3) was able to lead last start at Albion Park only to be run down very late. This looks easier can go one better. 

FREELANCE DANCER (1) showed gate speed in a recent trial before tiring late. Beaten by a potentially smart horse in Aardies Money. 

FIFTY EACH WAY (7) appeared to travel easily to the line in a recent trial without being presented into the clear late. 

GIRL THE GIRL (2) is having her first start for a new stable, may be one worth keeping safe.
