Form Analysis: Marburg - 7 October

RACE 1 

STUDLEIGH ANNE (3) was having her first start for the John McMullen stable last start. Was caught wide in the early stages and forced back in the field before finishing off strongly. Expect her to be hard to beat in this race. 

GETAGRIP (8) has improved each start since debuting. After a good last start placing looks ready to win a maiden. 

LUSTRE (5) caught the eye late in a recent trial. Hit the line nicely under a hold. Looks to have ability. 

PEEJAY MACK (7) placed last start behind Bev The Goat. Likely to need a soft run to figure.

RACE 2 

TUNGSTEN TERROR (6) is the clear class runner of the field in this race. Has been freshened up for this with a few weeks between runs. His best is likely to be very competitive. 

CHAKANA (7) has been hitting the line well late in races. Ran into third last start behind Tulhurst Cuddles a horse that would go around short odds in this race. 

DOOLITTLE DAYS (9) was a winner four starts ago. Hasn’t been able to back that up in recent outings but this does look a lot easier. 

OUTER CHANGE (4) can show gate speed at times. This may be a race where she can push forward at the start and give them something to catch.

RACE 3

ROCCO VARIETY (8) has run second in his past two outings. Ran into it strongly last start and was just run down late. Likely to be hard to beat. 

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) went around a short priced favourite last time out and loomed into it strongly before tiring into fourth. Looks well placed in this race. 

JILLIBY PANDA (9) caught the eye three runs ago when running into it strongly before just getting run down late by Queenslander. This is easier. 

SCHOOBY (1) is resuming in this race. Has options from the inside draw.

SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) to win. 

RACE 4 

FANTASY BLASTER (1) is a gate speed horse. She wasn’t at her best last start. She hit the line strongly two runs ago once clear. If at her best she should prove hard to catch. 

MAMMALS DESTINY (6) has landed a good trailing draw. If able to make the most of that advantage she can be in the finish. 

KIWI ROYALTY (7) ran second two starts ago albeit beaten 32.6 metres behind Ghost Train. Has the ability to take this out. 

GOODTIME CRACKER (9) didn’t score up last start which leaves him out of the draw. Start prior was good not beaten far.

RACE 5

ONE LAST ROLL (5) has placed in his last two outings. He finished off well last start and this race looks suitable. 

MILLIEWOOD (1) has some gate speed and draws to get all the favours. Has been mixing her form but this does look easier. 

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) second behind Rocktime three starts ago sitting on his back. Has a good draw and can figure again with the right trip. 

AQUA CRUISER (2) won last start after getting the right trip in the race. Two back battled on well off a tougher run.

SUGGESTED BET: ONE LAST ROLL (5) to win. 

RACE 6 

ARE YOU WITH ME (8) looks to have landed in a race which appears much more suitable than his recent races. Should be hard to beat despite the back row draw. 

RISKY BUZINESS (5) ran well last start for a race like this. Appears to be gradually getting back nearer his better form. 

PABLOS ART (9) made an error last start and finds himself out of the draw as a result. Ran well enough to suggest he could be competitive in a race of this nature. 

NIGHT NINJA (6) placed two runs ago at this track. His best is definitely good enough to take this race out.

RACE 7

TINSEL TIARA (1) hit the line well last start beating Tommy Bligh home who has since won impressively. Has the gate speed to lead and should give them something to catch. 

THE TIGER ARMY (6) trialled up nicely on return. Looks to have drawn favourably following a good beginner. 

JET FORCE (3) stepped up in grade his last two and couldn’t match it with them. Likely to find this race more to his liking and has drawn a good gate. 

CRIME TIME (7) returns from a spell in this race. Had been competitive in this type of race last time in and looks to have drawn to get a reasonable run through.

RACE 8

SHEREACTS (3) gave a good sight recently when leading at Redcliffe beaten by Diego 

MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (9) was a winner three starts ago when running on strongest. Hasn’t been beaten too far in recent outings. 

IMA BEACH BABE (6) hasn’t been at her best in recent outings. Suited by the trailing draw and can be finishing off well with clear running late. 

KISS ON THE BEACH (2) this race looks slightly earlier than a recent outing at Albion Park where she finished in fifth. Draws well.
