Form Analysis: Redcliffe - 3 October

RACE 1 

TOMMY BLIGH (2) was forced to do the work last start outside Jimmy Joyce and battled on well into third. Is likely to be a good chance of finding the front in this race which would see him hard to beat. 

TREACHEROUS GABBY (8) ran on powerfully from the back of the field into second behind Wandary Delight. Is suited by the trailing draw and can be running on strong at the finish again. 

ROSARITO (1) is going better than numerical form suggests. Worked hard early last start to find the pegs before handing over to a horse that ended up tiring and dragging him out of it. 

WANDARY DELIGHT (7) lead last start and was able to win. Looks to be faced by a much more awkward draw in this race and will need luck at the right time.

RACE 2

LUXURY LAD (1) is a bold front running type that at his best is a very hard horse to run down. 

HAZZA IS WATCHING (7) had a suitable trip last start when sitting one out one back and could only battle into fourth. He draws favourably in this race and had been racing well prior to last start. 

THE VIXEN (8) is having her first start for the Dixon stable after trialling up reasonably well recently.

MODERN SHEEN (9) was forced to work last start and battled on strongly to hold second place. Draws to do no work in the early stages.

SELECTIONS: LUXURY LAD (1), HAZZA IS WATCHING (7), THE VIXEN (8), MODERN SHEEN (9) 

SUGGESTED BET: LUXURY LAD (1) to win. 

RACE 3

OBI ONE (8) was below his best last start when sitting on the leaders back and dropping out of contention. Happy to forgive one poor run and he looks very well placed in this race at a track he loves. 

HAY THERE JOE (7) hit the line powerfully last start running up the back of the winner late. He looks one of the class runners in this race and can go close again. 

MONSIEUR DELACOUR (2) was a dominant winner last start sweeping home to score by a big margin. He would likely prove very hard to catch if able to lead. 

ESCOBAR (6) made an error early last start which put him out of the race but he did well to battle away beaten 11 metres. He is versatile and can be put into the race.

RACE 4 

HELL OF A HAND (3) is making much better than her numerical form suggests. She ran on well last start in a race that was slowly run. 

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (8) was a strong second three starts ago behind Master Charles after doing the work in the breeze. This looks easier than his recent outings. 

YES YOU MAY (2) ran on strongly late last start from back in the field. Draws to get plenty of favours and should be thereabouts late. 

BLACKJACK BART (6) despite winning three starts ago hasn’t seemingly been racing at his absolute best in recent times. Has a tricky draw to navigate and likely needs to lift on recent form to figure in this race.

RACE 5

LARA BAY (3) has gate speed and is getting fitter third up into this race. If she is able to find the front she should take catching. 

TORQUE IN CONTROL (5) worked to the position outside the leader over the 2040 two starts who’d and was able outstay Bling The Luck late. That horse has since won and this race looks no tougher. 

BLISSFUL IDENTITY (9) appears to have landed in a much easier race than recent outings. Can be put into the race and should be hard to beat. 

ALLHEARTNOHEIGHT (8) lead last start and tired late into seventh. Is likely to be better suited saved for one run at them late.

SUGGESTED BET: LARA BAY (3) to win. 

RACE 6 

NUCLEAR BLING (6) was an impressive winner three starts ago when running on over the top late at Albion Park. She has since taken on slightly tougher races and looks well suited in this field despite the wide draw. 

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (7) was travelling well with no clear run last start. Likely to be hard to beat if able to obtain clear running at the right time. 

CHARLEVOIX (3) has been running on well in his races. Looks a suitable race for him to figure in the finish again. 

FINANCIAL BURDEN (1) started favourite last start fading late into third after sitting leaders back. 

SELECTIONS: NUCLEAR BLING (6), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (7), CHARLEVOIX (3), FINANCIAL BURDEN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: CHARLEVOIX (3) each way. 

RACE 7

OLDGOLD (3) battled on well last start after racing in the breeze. Hit the line well her start prior at this track. Looks a strong hope. 

FIFTY EACH WAY (6) was unlucky last start when checked at a crucial stage before running on strongly late into third. Draws wide in this and may get a long way back but looks a solid hope. 

BECKYS DIAMOND (1) trialled up reasonably at this track before making a break on debut.

JADEZ (8) had no luck last start when caught wide early and forced to the rear of the field. Should be better for the outing.
