RACE 1
FRENCH BUBBLES (6) was held up last start until very late in the race before hitting the line nicely once clear. This looks easier and shouldn’t be too far off them in the small field.
PEPPA (5) was able to secure a good run throughout last time out and was finishing off well late. Should be better for that effort can go on with in this second up from a spell.
CHARMAWAY (7) was disappointing last start when in the market finishing 66.9 metres from the winner. She was a real eye catcher three runs ago into second at Redcliffe. Her best is good enough.
LIGHT UP LOVEY (2) is first up from a spell without a trial. If she is ready to go first up she can be thereabouts.
SELECTIONS: FRENCH BUBBLES (6), PEPPA (5), CHARMAWAY (7), LIGHT UP LOVEY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CHARMAWAY (7) to win.
RACE 2
BELL RIVER BOY (7) had no luck last start when badly held up for a run at a crucial stage. Looks to bring the strongest form into this race and despite the wide draw looks hardest to beat.
NEVADA YANKEE (2) ran on strongly last start into second. Attempted to lead at this trip two starts ago and faded late into eighth. Has options in the early stages.
ILLBEWATCHING (1) was caught without cover last start which doesn’t suit him. He is going well when driven quietly in the early stages.
MAJOR LINCOLN (5) flashed over the top late last start in what was a slightly easier race.
SELECTIONS: BELL RIVER BOY (7), NEVADA YANKEE (2), ILLBEWATCHING (1), MAJOR LINCOLN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BELL RIVER BOY (7) to win.
RACE 3
OUR SWEET JESS (2) trialled up smartly recently at Albion Park after zipping off the gate and taking a trial she closed strongly late in a quick last quarter to score. From a favourable draw looks like she can do similar in this race.
CAPTAIN BOAK (10) showed gate speed last start and was taken on strongly through the first half of the race. With a softer run throughout in this race he can bounce back.
CELESTINE (1) showed gate speed last start and was good enough to hang on late. She takes on a much stronger race but looks likely to be in the finish if able to secure the right run.
POINT LOOKOUT (7) was hitting the line well late in a recent trial alongside stablemate Toro Loco.
SELECTIONS: OUR SWEET JESS (2), CAPTAIN BOAK (10), CELESTINE (1), POINT LOOKOUT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR SWEET JESS (2) to win.
RACE 4
BETTORS BOY (4) was first up for Chloe Butler last start. He drew widest and got back in a slowly run race running on strongly late.
HIGHVIEW SADLER (1) has reasonable gate speed giving him options from the perfect draw. He had trouble getting around them mid race which made things difficult there last start.
BLISSFULL IDENTITY (9) hit the line strongest last start once eventually clear. Has struggled to make ground at Redcliffe when racing off the pegs and may appreciate a move to Albion Park.
MISS HATTIE (6) had no luck last time out. Ran well three runs ago at this trip.
SELECTIONS: BETTORS BOY (4), HIGHVIEW SADLER (1), BLISSFULL IDENTITY (9), MISS HATTIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGHVIEW SADLER (1) to win.
RACE 5
JAY TEE TYRON (9) looks very well graded in a race of this nature having taken on much stronger company. Draws quite favourably following a good beginner and can break his run of four runs without a placing.
GOTTA GO TORQUE (3) has some gate speed and can look to race up on speed in this. Ran well three starts ago when showing good mid race speed to score.
THE HARRIS HAWK (10) scored a big win last start when well driven to hold the advantage on key rivals there and work to the front. Racing well and this doesn’t look much tougher.
ISLA AND ADDIE (4) appears to have drawn somewhat awkwardly in this race. Ran on powerfully last start behind Highly Respected and scored a good win her start prior behind Goodtime Cracker.
SELECTIONS: JAY TEE TYRON (9), GOTTA GO TORQUE (3), THE HARRIS HAWK (10), ISLA AND ADDIE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA GO TORQUE (3) to win.
RACE 6
BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (1) will be looking to resist the early challenge from Theresachance who is a very quick beginner. He has been asked to come off the gate recently and may just be able to do enough to hold the early advantage.
BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (8) if the 1 is able to hold the lead it would give this horse a great run. Has been racing well. Wasn’t suited last start when sent to the breeze and had generally gone best when driven quietly early.
ARNOLD STREET (3) is in good form having not been far out of the placings in recent starts.
B MAC C (5) didn’t have much luck from a wide draw last start at Marburg when doing a lot of work. Can bounce back.
SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (1), BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (8), ARNOLD STREET (3), B MAC C (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (8) each way.
RACE 7
COUGAR EXPRESS (2) went around an odds on favourite two starts ago when finding the front and appearing to have every chance at Redcliffe. Seems to race much better at Albion Park not beaten far last start in a quick mile rate.
TOSSIES SON (1) showed gate speed to find the pegs in the early stages last start. From the low draw this time has options and looks likely to figure in the finish.
KING OF TRUMPS (9) got a long way back last start from a poor draw in a race that was on speed dominated. His run prior to that was good not beaten far. Should get a good run through early.
BONNIES CAM (6) has brilliant gate speed when he is racing well and if he was able to cross in the early stages he would be hard to beat.
SELECTIONS: COUGAR EXPRESS (2), TOSSIES SON (1), KING OF TRUMPS (9), BONNIES CAM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (6) to win.
