Form Analysis: Marburg November 19

RACE 1 

WESTRAY (7) ran on strongly late last start albeit in what appeared an easier race. Draws to get a reasonable run through early and can be thereabouts. 

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8) failed to obtain a clear run at a crucial stage last start and went to the line plenty to give. Looks one of the top hopes and can be running on strongly at the finish. 

SOMEONES WATCHING (3) hasn’t been racing well in recent starts but does have some gate speed and if he was able to find the front on his best efforts he would take some catching. 

OLD ENGLISH (6) had no luck last start when forced to the rear from a wide gate. Was running on well enough late.

RACE 2 

MY GIRL BLAZE (2) hasn’t run a place in her last 20 outings and hasn’t really been all that close to placing but she may just have found a weak enough race to break through in. 

BUN IN THE OVEN (6) won a trial recently in an effort would see her very competitive in a race like this. The draw makes things awkward for her. 

WEDDING NIGHT (1) has gate speed and could secure a good run in this race. 

TAKIDAH (4) is first up from a spell in this race. Could be thereabouts if ready first up.

RACE 3

ROSEANNE RUBY (4) was first up last start when forced to work hard. She has brilliant gate speed and looks the likely leader in the race despite drawing wide. 

COLETTE (1) ran well two starts ago when obtaining the leaders back trail and running on strongly late. Could secure a similar run in this race. 

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) was running on well late last start. Would be suited by a strong tempo in the early stages. 

SHAKATIE (2) ran well last start after facing the breeze. Battled away well for fourth.

RACE 4 

BETTING BARON (3) has been racing in good form. Found the lead three starts ago and was just beaten there by an in form horse Goodtime Cracker. 

STRUTTY (8) has the tempo against him last start when making up good ground late into second. This appears a race he may be suited in. 

HES REGAL (2) is first up in QLD after racing in NSW. Is a query first up from a spell but does appear to have moderate gate speed. 

ROYAL STUDLEIGH (9) sat without cover two starts ago and battled away reasonably. Gets no favours from the draw but is certainly good enough to take this out with luck.

RACE 5

STUDLEIGH DARCEY (2) has some gate speed and could potentially be the leader in the race. Battled away reasonably in what appeared a slightly tougher race last start. 

CONVAIR HUSTLER (7) returns in this race after a few months off. Battled away last start into fourth after racing on the pegs. 

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (6) ran on strongly last start once clear. The draw looks very awkward for him in this race. 

MACH TORQUE (9) ran on strongly to win two starts ago in a race that looked no tougher than this one. Gets no favours from the draw.

SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH DARCEY (2) to win. 

RACE 6 

SUBTLE CHAY (3) looks likely to secure a good run in this race with cover. Ran on well in the concluding stages last start when securing a similar run throughout. 

MELTON INSULTED (4) has brilliant gate speed when she is racing well. Was forced to do the work last start and battled away well. 

ONE LAST ROLL (8) worked hard in the early stages last start and did well to battle away beaten 16 metres. Can be put into the race and should be thereabouts. 

ROCCO VARIETY (2) led last start and was able to slow them right up and turn it into a dash home. This race appears tougher.

SUGGESTED BET: SUBTLE CHAY (3) each way. 

RACE 7

ROCKTIME (1) scored an impressive win last start. Travelled well throughout and despite galloping approaching the home turn he won fairly convincingly. He has gate speed and can dictate from gate 1. 

SPORTING TRISTAR (6) has recently changed stables and is first up for Mathew Clayton. Raced well when able to find the pegs in QLD and looks to get plenty of favours in this race. 

BLING THE LUCK (8) will be looking to make it four in a row in this race. Draws awkwardly and will likely need to work hard at some stage. 

LULU LUCIFER (7) is racing well without much luck in recent starts. Got back last start on the pegs and was making late inroads.

RACE 8

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) returns from a spell in this after a few months off. She trialled up in good time at this track dashing up a 28.6 on the way home suggesting she isn’t far away first up. She has the gate speed to lead and can give them something to catch. 

SIR BOSTON (7) is a horse with solid ability. Won impressively three starts ago when running on strongest late to dead heat with Mighty George. 

ROCKNROLL MAX (8) is a capable sit sprinter. Has options in the early stages. 

FORGIVE ME (2) ran better two starts ago when hitting the line late. Has drawn favourably.
