Form Analysis: Marburg November 21

RACE 1 

CHANGE IS GOLDEN (2) showed gate speed when first up from a spell last start and wasn’t able to find the front before tiring out of it badly late. May have needed that run and if able to lead could be hard to beat. 

SOMETHING BORROWED (5) showed very good gate speed in a recent trial to match it with Test Of Fire early. Tired out of that trial late but it was an effort that suggested she would be hard to beat if able to lead in a maiden like this. 

RISSOLES (7) ran well last start just missing when driving at the winner late. Draws favourable in this following out one of the likely favoured runners. 

MISTY RULER (1) ran better last start at Warwick and draws to get plenty of favours in this.

RACE 2 

GIRL THE GIRL (1) has shown enough gate speed in the past to suggest she may be able to drive through and lead. She has battled on well enough in recent starts to suggest she is likely to prove hard to catch around Marburg. 

IMA BALLERINA (6) led last start and couldn’t quite hold off Victree Busta who sat outside her. Draws to get a good run through early and can be thereabouts with luck. 

SO MANY MOMENTS (7) hit the line just moderately in a recent trial at Albion Park. Wasn’t beaten too far earlier in the season behind some nice enough 2YOs. 

SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (9) has trialled up smartly for a maiden. She has drawn poorly in this and will need to be good to overcome the draw but certainly isn’t hopeless in this type of race.

RACE 3

MISSDEHEIR (6) hit the line powerfully two starts ago in an effort that suggested she wasn’t far away from a win. Draws extremely awkwardly in this race and will need plenty of luck. 

MUSTANG DUDE (3) has very good gate speed and looks a race he could potentially find the front in. He will need to be at his absolute best to take this out but he does appear to be racing well. 

WESTERN ACTION (5) finished fourth two starts ago at Albion Park in a much stronger race. He then drew awkwardly last start and couldn’t get into it at this track. 

SHE OWNS THE DAY (8) made a quick move around them last start and just tired out of it late. She has a good turn of foot and can be there at the finish with the right run into it.

RACE 4 

In a race that’s fairly hard to split the top few SCORES (7) goes on top. He was well below his best last start when fading late after racing on the leaders back. He drops in grade into this race and should be fitter second up. 

PABLOS ART (1) has shown some gate speed at times to suggest he can hold a position in the early stages and has options from there. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (3) has gate speed and may look to get forward in the early stages. He could prove hard to catch if able to lead. 

CHANCELESS CENTURY (8) drops back into this grade for the first time since consecutive wins in September. He draws poorly but can be thereabouts with the right run into it.

RACE 5

GETALOADATHISBRO (1) led last start and was just run down by a horse that had the perfect trip on his back. Steps back in distance for this race and should prove very hard to beat leading around Marburg. 

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6) looks likely to secure the perfect run in this race behind the likely leader. He finished close up in a trial behind Tactfilly Miracle. 

TULHURST CUDDLES (9) has been racing in good form. She was checked at a crucial stage last start which made it impossible to get into the race. 

MONTEREY JACK (8) is rarely far from the money having run third in his last two starts and fourth prior to that. He was wide and working last start at this track and battled on gamely for a good third.

RACE 6 

ARTFUL MAID (1) worked extremely hard three starts ago to lead in a very fast 28 first quarter at Redcliffe for the grade, beaten 13.6m which wasn’t far considering the work she had done. She looks to find an easier lead and looks like she will be very hard to run down. 

ZACH LOWE (6) didn’t make much impression last start when getting back in the run. Looks to have drawn ideally in this race and it looks easier than his last few. 

POWERMOVE (4) finished second behind Studleigh Mark last start after finding the top three back on the pegs. Has shown good ability and if he can overcome the tricky draw looks one for the minor money. 

LA SABINA (2) has high speed and finishes off well last start once clear. Looks likely to secure an economical run in this race.

RACE 7

LULU MAE (1) was first up last start when working in the early stages to get into the 1-1 on the back of the eventual winner Ideal Desire. She had every chance there but should be better for the outing and had all the options from gate 1. 

ROCK NIEN (6) can follow the potential leader in the early stages. He looks one of the class runners in the field and with luck in running can figure in the finish. 

DANIEL BOOM (3) has a very good record at this track. He secured a good run last start three back on the pegs and was making up strong ground late once clear. 

COTE DAZUR (8) made up strong ground two back into third behind Rock Hammer. Can look to do similar in this from the awkward draw.

RACE 8

A PERFECT DANCE (1) has been finishing off powerfully in her recent races scoring a good win four starts ago at Redcliffe. Last time she led she was well beaten but they did rate fast time in 1.52 in a strong mares Qualifying pace. She looks the leader and is likely to prove hard to run down. 

SHES IN LINE (6) had no luck at all last start when stuck behind a tiring runner which dragged her out of the race. Looks likely to secure the perfect run and can win with any luck. 

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (3) has drawn awkwardly in gate speed and will likely need to do the work in this race. Was forced to the rear last start and only made steady progress late. 

REDS STAR DEAL (9) didn’t have much luck last time out when looking for runs through the middle. Will need plenty to go his way from the poor draw but is a very fast horse and could be one to sneak into the money at big odds.
