Form Analysis: Marburg November 28

RACE 1 

CRADOCK (7) raced in strong company early in his career and looked destined for bigger and better things. He remains a maiden after 27 starts having placed on twelve occasions. Having won both of his trials leading into this first up assignment he can break his maiden. 

ITS A SPONGE DARL (6) trialled up reasonably leading into his debut which was in a strong race where he did things wrong. He returns in this race without a trial and betting may be the best guide. 

CHANGE IS GOLDEN (1) has gate speed and is the perfect draw. Likely to be nearing peak fitness and may be able to run a better race. 

WEE BONNIE (2) trialled moderately when well beaten. She is related to a number of winners and a good debut run wouldn’t surprise.

SUGGESTED BET: CRADOCK (7) to win. 

RACE 2 

SO MANY MOMENTS (6) ran well last start behind Maywyns Ace in reasonably fast time for a maiden of this nature. Will need to navigate an awkward draw. 

SOMETHING BORROWED (4) was given a tough trip last start when launched wider on the track in the fastest part of the race. Had trialled up reasonably prior to that when showing promising speed. 

BETTY WINKLE (1) showed gate speed last start and ended up having a completely luckless trip thereafter. Can get things easier from the perfect draw. 

LIGHT UP LOVEY (3) took on a much stronger field last start and will find this a lot easier.

SUGGESTED BET: SOMETHING BORROWED (4) to win. 

RACE 3

PEEJAY MACK (1) showed very good gate speed last start before handing over to Savage Storm and battling on well for third. This looks much easier and may be given its chance out in front. 

OCEAN LANE (7) has been in very consistent form rarely far away from the winner. 

TARIFA GIRL (3) led three starts ago and was good enough to win there. Has since changed stables and draws reasonably. 

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (9) is a horse with plenty of ability but tends to be her own worst enemy when doing things wrong. 

SELECTIONS: PEEJAY MACK (1), OCEAN LANE (7), TARIFA GIRL (3), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (9) 

SUGGESTED BET: PEEJAY MACK (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

ROLLONX (2) showed gate speed last start to nearly cross in the early stages before being forced to race without cover throughout. He battled away well not beaten far and if able to find the front in this race is likely to prove hard to beat. 

ROYAL STUDLEIGH (3) faced the breeze last start in a much stronger raced and was able to battle away there for a midfield finish. This looks suitable.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8) has been thereabouts his last few starts. This doesn’t look any tougher than those and he can figure if able to overcome the poor draw. 

FINANCIAL BURDEN (1) has landed the ideal draw in this race. He was well below his best in his last few outings and may be an improver following a short freshen up having not raced for a bit over a month.

SELECTIONS: ROLLONX (2), ROYAL STUDLEIGH (3), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8), FINANCIAL BURDEN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ROLLONX (2) to win. 

RACE 5

ENZED FLYER (1) has plenty of gate speed and should have the speed to hold the front in the early stages. His most recent win was at this track when able to find the lead and scored a big win. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (6) looks likely to get a good run through in the early stages. Was able to break through for a well deserved win last start and can figure in the finish again. 

TULHURST SMOOCHER (7) showed great mid race speed last start and just got tired late. Should be better for that effort and can be thereabouts again in this. 

SPLASHNDASH (2) ran second two starts ago when racing off the pegs at this track behind Calculated Risk. This looks a similar field. 

SELECTIONS: ENZED FLYER (1), GET ME OUTTA HERE (6), TULHURST SMOOCHER (7), SPLASHNDASH (2)

SUGGESTED BET: GET ME OUTTA HERE (6) to place. 

RACE 6 

MELTON INSULTED (1) has brilliant gate speed and from the inside draw should have the speed to hold the front and attempt to take them all of the way. Form has certainly been good enough to take out a race of this nature. 

MONTEREY JACK (6) will need his best getaway to hold his position on the leaders back in the early stages. Has been racing well and if he is able to hold that position he is racing well enough to figure in the finish. 

TULHURST CUDDLES (7) hasn’t had much luck when it comes to draws in recent starts. She is likely to need the tempo to suit but is racing well. 

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8) took on a similar race last start and didn’t make much impression late once into the clear. His best is certainly good enough.

SUGGESTED BET: MELTON INSULTED (1) to win. 

RACE 7

ARTFUL MAID (3) led them up last start after beginning quickly in the early stages. Was just beaten by a horse that went extremely well to win from back in the field. She would prove hard to catch if able to lead.

HANOVER LECTOR (1) appeared to have needed the run in a recent trial when beaten 41.2 metres in moderate overall time. Began slowly last start and was well beaten. Should be better for those efforts and can improve here. 

B MAC C (7) made up strong ground two starts ago to just miss in a close finish. Ran well again last start when pushed wider on the track at a crucial stage. 

JESSEJAMES SHANNON (4) has battled away well his last two starts for placings.
