Form Analysis: Redcliffe December 19

RACE 1 

CHARMAWAY (2) showed gate speed last start to lead and wasn’t beaten far into fourth. This race doesn’t look any tougher. 

FLY BURRA (1) trialled up sharply behind some talented types. This looks a suitable first up assignment from a good draw. 

FRANCS FOR COMING (7) hit the line strongly last start. Was an unlucky third the start prior. May need luck again from this draw. 

ITS A SPONGE DARL (8) zipped across early and led them up last start. Looks likely to be running on late.

RACE 2 

ELIARN (7) draws awkwardly in this race but put the writing on the wall last start hitting the line strongly suggesting a maiden win is near. With even luck she can figure. 

MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (8) has three second placings in a row. Each of those races has had plenty of merit and looks to be a big hope in this race. 

WECANONLYDREAM (9) improved last start with a solid fourth placing. 

MAC WARRA (4) looks tested and may be a place chance with luck.

RACE 3

RACANA (1) is a gate speed horse that’s been unable to lead in recent starts. This looks her opportunity to find the front again and she will take plenty of beating the way she has been going. 

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (2) took on strong races his last two starts behind Seaside Glory and La Derniere. 

ROCKSNGEMS (3) broke through for a win two starts ago before being well beaten last start. 

MARKSMAN (5) caught the eye last start when running on strongly late.

RACE 4 

ONE CHAIN ROAD (2) showed gate speed last start before taking a trail in the 1-1. He finished off strongly late once clear and looks ready to win. 

CALCULATED RISK (7) has been in strong form. Worked hard last start and was just nabbed by a horse that had a soft trip in the race. 

OYSTER STRIDE (9) was going much better than numerical form suggested before breaking through for a win last start. 

MAJORMISS (1) draws ideally. She is capable of figuring in the minor money off a soft run.

RACE 5

ART ON FIRE (5) has taken on strong races his past two starts having finished down the track behind Rocknpenny last Saturday. 

COTE DAZUR (7) should get the right run through in the early stages of this race. Has been in strong form and with even luck can figure. 

A PERFECT DANCE (8) looked to be travelling well two starts ago with nowhere to go. Never able to get into the race last start. 

HANOVER LECTOR (1) has gate speed and has led and won previously. Her most recent win was only in moderate time at Marburg. 

SELECTIONS: ART ON FIRE (5), COTE DAZUR (7), A PERFECT DANCE (8), HANOVER LECTOR (1)

SUGGESTED BET: COTE DAZUR (7) to win. 

RACE 6 

R ELEVEN ART (6) drops back in grade for this race having taken on Duke Of Scotland two starts ago before taking on Bronski Zulu and Iron Clad last start. 

GLENLEDI BOY (2) has been racing without luck and is going significantly better than his numerical form suggests. Looks to have drawn ideally in this race. 

CALL ME KEITH (3) showed brilliant gate speed last start to zip over and lead them up before running on the whole way. He was just nabbed late by a horse that had the soft run on his back. 

HES SWEET (1) is a gate speed horse that draws the same gate as he did two starts ago when leading all the way to score. This race looks significantly tougher.

SUGGESTED BET: GLENLEDI BOY (2) each way. 

RACE 7

MOMENTUM SWING (6) was checked last start at a crucial stage when Bushy Beach galloped. Performed well to get as close as he did there despite losing ground in what became a dash home. 

GOODBOYSANDBEER (8) has been impressive in his last two outings making up strong ground on both occasions. This looks a suitable draw and a similar race to what he’s been taking on. 

MISSTREPO (1) draws the perfect gate to attempt o lead and take them all the way. She enjoys racing at this trip. 

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (4) secured the right run last start when running into third.

SUGGESTED BET: MOMENTUM SWING (6) to win. 

RACE 8

MACH TORQUE (8) ran on strongly into second last start in what was probably a stronger race behind Beef City Starzzz. Looks well suited in this field and should be finishing off strong again. 

SCHOOBY (3) is a gate speed horse and may be looking to zip across in the early stages. If he is able to find the front he would be hard to beat. 

CHANCELESS CENTURY (4) has been racing without much luck in recent starts. He looks to have drawn awkwardly in this race and will need to well driven in the early stages to find a position. 

JOGALONG COOP (7) looks to have drawn awkwardly in this race and will need luck.

RACE 9

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (6) made a break last start and took no part after that. Has been finishing off strong recently running into the placings. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (9) is a capable sit sprinter that looks well graded. Will need to obtain the right run into the race and can be thereabouts. 

NIGHT SHADOW (4) generally races best when saved up for one run at them late. Looks a suitable race if able to secure a good run. 

SAMMYS SECRET (5) ran on well last start in the placings.
