Racing Queensland advises that the Townsville Turf Club meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday December 21, has been abandoned following continuous heavy rain in the region.
The potential for the meeting to be rescheduled is unlikely but is being explored by RQ.
A more probable outcome however is the possibility of providing replacement/alternative racing opportunities in CQ/NQ over the next week.
