Form Analysis: Redcliffe January 22

RACE 1 

THERESACHANCE (1) is a gate speed horse that does all his best racing when able to find the front. He was very good in running second to Mister Domingo in fast overall time. A similar effort would see him taking this out. 

MIGHTY GEORGE (5) returns in this race. He is a very capable horse and looks well suited in this type of race should he be fit enough first up. Can be running on strong. 

BLING THE LUCK (3) ran on strongly last start behind Blackjack Crippa at this track. She is in good form and this race looks suitable if she can obtain the right run. 

MISSTREPO (9) has placed in her last two starts after not having a great deal of luck in running. She may face a similar task from the outside the back row draw.

SUGGESTED BET: THERESACHANCE (1) to win. 

RACE 2 

DIEGO DELGADO (3) has good gate speed and may be able to hold the front in this race. If he can get away with things in front he may be able to do enough to hang on.

BELL RIVER BOY (4) led last start and scored a huge win there leading all the way. Draws awkwardly this time but the way he went last start he should still prove very hard to hold out. 

A PERFECT DANCE (6) was able to secure a good run last start in the 1-1 and just couldn’t quite finish it off running into fourth. A step back the shorter journey and a soft run could see her go to her best in this race. 

ACCELERE (5) was narrowly beaten last start. Looks a similar race and he can be thereabouts again.

SUGGESTED BET: DIEGO DELGADO (3) to win. 

RACE 3

EMMALEEN (1) ran on strongly last start into second. She is a horse without brilliant gate speed but with the aid of gate 1 over the 2040 she may just be able to do enough to lead. 

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) could secure a perfect run up on the speed in this race following a horse that’s likely to be close enough. If she can secure a good run she should be thereabouts. 

CANDYKANE (2) does her best work when able to find the pegs in her races which she was able to do last start when scoring an easy win. She will be looking to secure a similar run in this race. 

SUNNY COVE (9) was good enough to lead and win last start. He can be thereabouts again with the right run into the race.

SUGGESTED BET: EMMALEEN (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

SHADYS DELIGHT (2) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed but does draw well in this race and is likely to be close enough. It he can lead in this race he’d be very hard to beat. 

GELDOF (5) hasn’t raced in three weeks which is somewhat of a query. He has been in good form and if he shows his best he should be thereabouts. 

ILLBEWATCHING (8) hasn’t been at his absolute best in recent starts. He generally goes best when not used in the early stages and if he can secure an economical run early he will likely be right in the finish. 

SAMMYS SECRET (4) draws awkwardly in this race for a horse that likes to race up on speed.

SUGGESTED BET: SHADYS DELIGHT (2) to win. 

RACE 5

TARIFA GIRL (1) ran a much better race last start when able to drive into the placings along the inside. She has some gate speed and likely dictates the early map in this race. 

RIVER ROCK (8) has been racing better than his numerical form. Likely to be suited getting a soft run early. 

HIGHVIEW SADLER (4) had no luck last start and looked to be travelling easily when hitting the line late. Has options in the early stages and looks one of the hardest to beat in this race. 

SINGER SNAP (7) has the ideal pegs draw in this race to follow a horse with gate speed. Took on what was arguably a stronger race last start and battled on okay there. May be able to hang on for a minor placing.

SUGGESTED BET: TARIFA GIRL (1) to win. 

RACE 6 

ROCKSNGEMS (2) hit the line strongly last start in a slowly run race. He battled on well two starts ago behind Bettys Gold Class in a race there was a big gap to third. 

ESTIVAL (7) has been racing well and ran a good second last start in a stronger race at Albion Park. Despite the somewhat awkward draw can be thereabouts. 

RISSOLES (4) sat without cover last start and battled on gamely behind Boston Bronski. May be left to do the work again but can certainly still figure in a race like this. 

LET ME AT IT (1) took on a much stronger race and was comprehensively beaten last start. This looks much more suitable and he should bounce back.

SUGGESTED BET: LET ME AT IT (1) to place. 

RACE 7

ALICE RHAYNE BOW (3) hasn’t been at her absolute best since returning in two runs hitting the line okay on each occasion. She draws to lead in this race and is likely to get every chance. 

ALSROKSTAR (8) ran on strongly last start to just miss. This race looks of a similar quality and he can be running on strong again. 

PADDYS DIAMOND (4) ran on strongly last start in what was an eye catching effort. He should be improved for that effort being his third career start. 

PISCINA (5) has done a few things wrong early in his career. This race looks suitable and he was only narrowly beaten last start in a similar type of race.

RACE 8

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (4) is a gate speed horse and draws outside a number of horses that don’t have brilliant gate speed. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (5) had his chance last start after securing the leaders back trail behind Sunny Cove. He is likely to get a long way back in this race from a wide gate. 

WESTERN ACTION (8) scored a recent win leading all the way. He draws to get a decent run through in the early stages. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (7) draws awkwardly in this race but has been racing well enough to figure with even luck.
