Form Analysis: Redcliffe January 29

RACE 1 

TAURUS BROMAC (2) draws outside of a horse that’s been struggling for form and may have the gate speed to work across and lead. If he is able to lead he would take plenty of catching in this race. 

DIEGO DELGADO (8) worked very hard last start in a quick mile rate for the grade and wasn’t beaten too far. Draws to get a good run through early and should be thereabouts. 

THUNDAMENTAL (7) set a strong tempo over this trip last start when leading. He battled on well for second and could secure an economical run in this race. 

BLING THE LUCK (6) over raced badly last start and was well beaten as a result into sixth. She was good running into second two starts ago and despite the wide draw looks a hope.

RACE 2 

BELL RIVER BOY (4) has scored two dominant wins in his last two starts. This only looks a slightly stronger assignment and he clearly looks the one to beat again. 

ACCELERE (1) has run third in his last two outings. He draws to advantage in this race and has options in the early stages. 

REDS STAR DEAL (8) returns from a break in this race. He looks reasonably well placed in this race and should be thereabouts if fit enough first up. 

A PERFECT DANCE (3) has been racing well. She made up strong ground late in a similar race last start.

SUGGESTED BET: ACCELERE (1) to place. 

RACE 3

CORNISH SMUGGLER (3) obtained the leaders back trial last start before hitting the line strongly and just missing. If he could obtain the lead in this race he’d prove hard to catch. 

EMMALEEN (5) ran second in her last two starts. She obtained the leaders back trail last start and just couldn’t quite run down the leader. 

KNOCKWARWON (1) has very good gate speed which gives him options in the early stages. He got back in the run last start and just couldn’t get into the race. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (8) was able to find the leaders back trail last start and finished too well there to score.

SUGGESTED BET: CORNISH SMUGGLER (3) to win. 

RACE 4 

TOMMY BLIGH (5) did the work last start and battled away well enough there for fourth. This looks easier this race and he can look to control the race from the breeze again. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (4) could work across to the front and give them something to catch. He has been racing consistently rarely too far away. 

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (1) should be able to obtain the leaders back role and from there looks a very likely improver. 

HEAVENS BABY (9) ran on well last start into third. This doesn’t look any tougher.

SUGGESTED BET: DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (1) to place. 

RACE 5

FEELING THE POWER (3) flashed into third last start in what was a much improved effort to the eye. He may be able to work forward in this race. If he finds the top he’s likely to prove hard to beat. 

HIGHVIEW SADLER (9) hit the line late last start once they straightened. He looks well graded and should be thereabouts again. 

CONVAIR HUSTLER (4) hasn’t been far away in recent starts and is racing consistently. He draws awkwardly and will likely need luck. 

ILLBEWATCHING (5) ran into third last start. He is usually best when driven for one run at them late which may see him get a long way back.

RACE 6 

PISCINA (2) worked hard last start outside the leader in a race won by Paddys Diamond. He battled on well there not beaten far into third. This looks a touch easier. 

THREEOEIGHT (4) worked hard last start in a race won by Fly Burra. Has been thereabouts in recent starts and looks ready to win. 

ALWAYSMISSINGYOU (3) was first up last start and ran well for fourth after being shuffled back in the run. 

ALSROKSTAR (1) has mixed his form in recent starts. He was well beaten last start in a similar race. His best is good enough to figure.

SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYSMISSINGYOU (3) each way. 

RACE 7

JADES DIAMOND (6) was an impressive winner last start when making up strong ground to score. She steps up from an up to 2 wins race to an up to 4 wins race but still looks one of the hardest to beat. 

PROSPECTUS (4) worked early last start before taking a trail. She battled on well behind Cornish Smuggler into second. 

WILLROBY (5) led in a recent trial which he went on to score in by a big margin although it was only in moderate overall time. He draws awkwardly. 

SUNNY COVE (7) should get a good run through in the early stages and follows a horse with gate speed. He was a good winner two starts ago when leading.

SUGGESTED BET: PROSPECTUS (4) to win. 

RACE 8

OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (9) did the work last start and battled on very well there behind My Ultimate Mario who had the perfect run in the race. Looks a very suitable race for him to break through for his second win. 

FINANCIAL BURDEN (1) has placed in his last four starts. He draws to get plenty of favours from gate one. 

PADDYS DIAMOND (6) made a break early last start and had to do some chasing. He obtained a good run 1 out 2 back and was able to finish over the top to score an impressive win. 

ART OF ROCK (4) got a long way back in the run last start and was forced very wide on the track when making his run. This race looks tougher.
