Form Analysis: Redcliffe January 30

RACE 1 

ALICE RHAYNE BOW (1) has had a number of chances in her 16 career starts to break through and just hasn’t been able to quite finish them off. This looks her best opportunity yet and she can lead for a long way. 

BERNICES LOVE (7) looks likely to get the perfect run through in the early stages. She has shown ability through her career so far and seems to race best when able to find the pegs. 

FRANKIE GIRL (4) got well back in the run last start and hit the line strongly late. Looks to draw awkwardly in this race. 

THE SQUARE DANCER (3) is a horse that’s shown good ability while doing plenty wrong. Returns in this race and can be thereabouts.

RACE 2 

KELLOSHIEL (5) trialled brilliantly early this year scoring by a huge margin. She has since been scratched from a similar race, if she is fully fit she will take beating. 

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (6) was a good fifth last start behind Call To Order. He won two starts ago after securing the right run. 

PLAYBOI ROY (4) has plenty of gate speed which he may look to use in the early stages. Has been racing well enough to figure. 

TEAM SPORT (9) draws awkwardly outside the back row in this race and will need luck to get into it.

RACE 3

OUR UNCLE LES (2) has good gate speed and can likely clear the horse inside of him. If he can lead early he has options and should be in the finish. 

MELTON INSULTED (5) is a brilliant gate speed horse and if she could zip over and obtain the lead early she would take catching. 

MISTER DIAMOND (8) is racing better than his numerical form suggests. His recent efforts have been good enough for races in this grade and he can be thereabouts. 

VERMONT (9) has returned nicely placing in her last two starts.

RACE 4 

GOOD WORD THAT (2) draws outside of a horse that only possesses moderate gate speed and may be able to get across in the early stages. If he can lead he should prove hard to beat. 

TULHURST CUDDLES (1) has been racing in strong form in recent starts. She draws gate one and shouldn’t be too far away. 

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (3) is a horse with very good gate speed and may look to zip across in the early stages. If she can do that then she would take plenty of beating. 

THE GROGMOTHER (8) ran on strongly in the concluding stages last start. She will be hoping the speed is on early.

SUGGESTED BET: GOOD WORD THAT (2) to win. 

RACE 5

CHANCELESS CENTURY (3) only has moderate gate speed but does look to have found a race where there isn’t an abundance of gate speed on the front row. If he could do enough to drive through he’d take catching. 

MISTER HART (9) has been racing consistently. Should be thereabouts in this company. 

MARKSMAN (5) worked hard last start when running into third after leading. This looks a suitable drop in grade. 

ROSARITO (1) has plenty of gate speed giving him options in the early stages. Returned to form last start when running a good second.

SUGGESTED BET: CHANCELESS CENTURY (3) to win. 

RACE 6 

MUCHO GUAPA (2) is a gate speed horse in a race she looks likely to find the front in. If she can lead that’s generally where she has run her best races in the past and should take catching. 

CRIME TIME (1) was a last start winner when sitting without cover. There’s a genuine query on his gate speed which could make gate one tricky. 

SHEREACTS (6) looks extremely well graded in this race and has to be one of the top chances despite the wide draw. 

THE CASUAL GOOSE (9) returned nicely last start battling on gamely in a quickly run race after sitting without cover.

RACE 7

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (1) should have the gate speed to drive through and lead them up in the early stages. Should take catching in this field. 

GOODOLDBOYSANDBEER (8) wasn’t beaten far in second last time out. This looks suitable. 

LAST CALL (7) looks likely to secure a good run through in the early stages. Was a good runner up last start. 

ENGLISH DANCE (9) has been racing in good form having scored a win three starts ago.

RACE 8

MUCH BETTOR (1) has plenty of gate speed and draws ideally in this race. If he’s able to lead he should take plenty of catching. 

ROCK NIEN (7) looks to get a very good run through in the early stages. Has been racing well enough to figure with the right run. 

ROCK SUPREME (4) was a winner three starts ago when able to secure a good run leaders back. He wasn’t far away in a strong race last start. 

ACHROMATIC (2) has placed in her last two starts and draws favourably in this race.

RACE 9

COPPERFIELD (4) took on a much stronger race last start won by Boots Electric. He can find a position in the early stages and should be finishing off strong. 

MONSIEUR DELACOUR (8) had no luck last start when caught wide in the early stages. This race he looks likely to get a good run through early. 

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) has enough gate speed to drive through and lead them up. Usually very hard to catch when able to lead. 

LANAI (5) appears well placed in this company.
