Form Analysis: Redcliffe February 12

RACE 1 

THE TIGER ARMY (7) had no luck last start when getting a long way back in a race that became a dash up the straight. He draws ideally in this race to get a perfect run through in the early stages and should be hard to hold out. 

B MAC C (1) hasn’t had much luck from wide gates in his last two starts running good fourths on both occasions. He draws gate one this time and looks likely to get every chance from the good draw in a race he appears well graded. 

IMA BEACH BABE (10) was forced to do the work last start outside of Hes Sweet. She battled on gamely to nab second on the line. 

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (5) has recorded three fairly dominant wins in a row his last three starts. He steps right up in grade and looks to draw awkwardly in this race.

RACE 2 

HES SWEET (2) found the front last start in a race with slightly less depth. He was able to turn it into a dash home and proved too good there. If he finds the front again he can prove hard to beat. 

CAPTAINS PICK (6) has returned from a spell nicely with a win and two good placings. He draws very awkwardly and may need to do work at some stage. 

BELL RIVER BOY (8) draws favourably in this race off the back of three very good wins. 

IDEAL ASSASSIN (1) was well beaten last start after securing an economical run. Draws to do no work and may be better for that last effort having been a month between runs.

SUGGESTED BET: HES SWEET (2) to win. 

RACE 3

HIGHLY RESPECTED (1) closed off strongly last start from back in the field to win. She has gate speed which gives her options early. 

ASCOT ANNIE (6) was held up in a stronger race last start appearing to travel to the line with ease. If she is ready to go this is suitable. 

TAKE A CHANCE (9) brings some of the better form into this race. Doesn’t seemingly go well with when forced to make ground wide on the track. 

ASHLEE NITRO (4) appears well graded in this race. She can look to score another Redcliffe win.

SUGGESTED BET: ASCOT ANNIE (6) each way. 

RACE 4 

THE CASUAL GOOSE (1) isn’t a horse blessed with brilliant gate speed which could see her having a difficult task holding the lead in the early stages. If she can lead she would prove very hard to beat. 

EMMALEEN (5) has been in the finish without being able to break through for a win in recent starts. If she gets the right run she is likely to be in the finish again. 

MISTER HART (7) follows a horse which will be looking to hold the lead in the early stages. He has been racing well and with the right run he can figure in this company. 

ROLLONX (8) ran a good third two starts ago after getting a long way back in the run.

SUGGESTED BET: EMMALEEN (5) to place. 

RACE 5

MISSED CONSEQUENCES (9) faced the breeze last start and battled on well for second. Her start prior she secure a good run and ran into the placings there too. 

WAR CLUB (6) looked to be looming into the race nicely last start before jumping off stride. This looks no tougher and he is likely to be running on. 

DIEGO DELGADO (5) ran well in second last start. He draws wide in this race which makes things tougher. 

ROCK WITH NATE (8) has proved elusive so far in his career showing promise while doing plenty wrong. He returns and looks a player for the minor money if he shows his best behaviour.

RACE 6 

ELEGANT WOMAN (1) draws ideally in this race. Looks likely to have the speed to lead with the aid of the inside draw at the 2040 start point. 

JADES DIAMOND (5) ran on strongly last start into third. She has been impressive in recent starts and can be running on strong again. 

PROSPECTUS (10) has been very consistent in recent starts. She rarely puts in a bad run and can be in the money again. 

GIDUP CAPTAIN (8) beaten 22 metres in a recent trial behind Our Sweet Delight looks solid form for this race. Has options in the early stages.

SUGGESTED BET: ELEGANT WOMAN (1) to win. 

RACE 7

CONVAIR HUSTLER (4) has gate speed and this looks a race he may be able to find the front. He has been racing well enough to be in the finish with the right run. 

ROSARITO (1) held the lead last start which isn’t a position he has previously shown his best from and battled away for a close up fourth. He can secure a good run in this race and be thereabouts again. 

LARA BAY (5) is never in this grade for long without winning. She has been racing well. 

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (7) ran a very big race last start which appeared to see her return to her best. She draws very awkwardly in this race and will need plenty of luck.

SUGGESTED BET: CONVAIR HUSTLER (4) to win. 

RACE 8

MELTON INSULTED (5) got a long way back last start and was badly held up at a crucial stage in what became a dash home. She draws the front row in a race there isn’t much gate speed underneath her. If she finds the front she will prove very hard to catch. 

GELDOF (9) was forced to do the work two starts ago and just battled away there into fifth. Didn’t have much luck again last start when a long way back in the run. This looks suitable. 

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (8) was able to find the leaders back from a good gate and battled away well for third there. This race looks suitable. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row following a horse that’s likely to go around longer odds. He has been racing well enough to figure with luck.

SUGGESTED BET: MELTON INSULTED (5) to win.

RACE 9

JOHN SNOW (7) draws awkwardly in this race which is likely to make things tricky. He brings in some of the strongest form not beaten too far into fifth behind Kelloshiel in a 1.52.4 mile rate last start. 

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (3) was very impressive when running into second two starts ago. She wasn’t able to back that up when only able to manage a fifth after securing a good run. 

CROSS WALK (8) took on a much stronger race last start won by Lulu Mae. Draws favourably in this race and should be thereabouts. 

ESTIVAL (4) hasn’t been at her absolute best in recent starts. This looks a touch easier.

SUGGESTED BET: JOHN SNOW (7) to win. 

RACE 10

PISCINA (3) has been very consistent in his short career so far without having been able to break through for that maiden win. 

KYBLAKEY STAR (2) battled away for second two starts ago after securing the perfect run in what was a fairly moderate maiden. This looks a touch tougher but he can secure a good run. 

RED SEAS (5) trialled up just fairly. Should be better for that outing and despite the wide draw looks one of the better chances. 

TENGGERI (8) is first up without a trial in this race. Previous form would be up to winning a maiden of this quality.
