RACE 1 

THREE CHORD RIFF (2) ran well last start and appears she may get the chance to lead in this race. She has been going well enough to score if she puts her best foot forward. 

MAJOR MISCHIEF (8) returned nicely this time in with a win and a second placing. Is capable of doing the work in this company. 

OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (3) draws favourably and should secure a good run. Likely to improve on his numerical form in what looks a more suitable race. 

MUCHO GUAPA (6) hasn’t been racing at her best. She is dropping back in grade and must be respected.

RACE 2 

IMXTRASPECIAL (9) scored in a recent trial at Albion Park. They only rated moderate time and he draws poorly in this race. He still looks one of the top hopes. 

ALWAYS PROMISE ME (3) put in an impressive last start effort behind Maywyns Mighty Mac to run second after facing the breeze. Trialled reasonably and draws favourably. 

PLAYBOI ROY (6) made an error at the start last time out and was impressive to get into fourth behind Kelloshiel. He gets no favours from the draw but does appear to be racing well. 

BOSTON BRONSKI (7) was well driven last start to sneak onto the pegs and run into third in what was a strong race. Needs luck from the draw.

RACE 3

MAN OF ACTION (8) is rarely far away in races in this grade. He was impressive when winning three starts ago after finding the front and looks a very good hope again. 

HOIHO (9) is working back towards some of his better form. This looks a suitable race and he should get a good run through early. 

MATAI REACTOR (5) was good enough to score last start. He is rarely far away and this looks another race he can figure in. 

SINGER SNAP (6) should be an improver in this race despite the wide draw.

RACE 4 

KATACHA MAN (10) hasn’t had much luck in recent starts. He is right back in grade in this race and can be driven tough. Looks very hard to beat. 

GOODOLDBOYSANDBEER (6) was caught wide last start and entitled to tire late. Gets no favours from the draw but does look one of the class runners. 

GOOD WORD THAT (3) has gate speed and may be able to find the front. Battled on well last start after facing the breeze.

MISSTREPO (5) hasn’t been at her absolute best in recent starts. She does like racing over this trip and shouldn’t be too far away.

SUGGESTED BET: KATACHA MAN (10) to win. 

RACE 5

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (2) looks likely to find the front in this race and should give them something to catch. She was excellent last start to make up ground in what became a dash home. 

THUNDAMENTAL (10) impressed three starts ago when setting a frantic tempo for the grade over the 2040 and battling on well for second. Draws awkwardly which makes things tricky. 

ARKUNA (5) returns from a spell in this race and appears well placed. She seems to appreciate racing over this trip and should be thereabouts. 

SHEREACTS (6) draws awkwardly outside the front row in this race. She is capable and does appear well graded.

RACE 6 

ENGLISH DANCE (2) is a good leader and looks likely to get that opportunity in this race drawn outside of a horse that’s been struggling for form. He led last start over the 2040 and will likely appreciate the step back to the 1780. 

ACCELERE (9) got a very long way back last start after starting from a wide barrier and closed off powerfully to get into third. Draws more favourably this time. 

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6) has been in outstanding form scoring an impressive win over the 2138 at Albion Park in December. He got a long way back last start and just couldn’t get into the race there. 

SKYGIRL (8) was just nabbed late after doing all the work last start. She looks well placed again and should get a good run through early.

SUGGESTED BET: ENGLISH DANCE (2) to win. 

RACE 7

CALL ME KEITH (3) is a gate speed horse that draws favourable in this race. If he is able to find the front he’d prove hard to catch in this company. 

COTE DAZUR (1) has plenty of gate speed and draws favourably in this race giving him options in the early stages. 

ART JESTER (7) had no luck last time out when dragged out of the race. He draws to get a good run on the pegs which is a trip he thrives on. 

KASH US BACK (8) has been an improver recently with a good third four starts ago before a good fourth a start later. He worked too hard two starts ago and was entitled to tire there.
