RACE ONE

Two from three this season, FREE THINKER (5) was put on the engine from gate 7 last week and put them away with a 54.1 close out for a smart 4m victory. Both prior starts this term have been off the second line and with another start off the front, can push his claim.

RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (1) was luckless here last week when shuffled to a three poles position from inside the second line. Sticking to the inside for the short cuts, she was able to grab the silver. Not suited when parked the start prior, she has the speed and options to challenge.

LUVBITE (8) started from this gate last week and when produced at the top of the stretch went within 2m of the winner but missed the money. He will be stalking and chasing gaps again here.

MOSSDALE TERRY (9) is a perennial place getter and chalked up another notch in the minor’s column last week when 3rd to FREE THINKER. He will run an honest race as per his norm.

SELECTIONS: FREE THINKER (5), RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (1), LUVBITE (8), MOSSDALE TERRY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FREE THINKER (5) to win

RACE TWO

This race looks set to deliver the same profile as last week, where RISK TAKER (1) found the front, released VINSANITY, then gassed him up the lane. With three wins and four minors already for the season, can he rinse and repeat? Or does the sprint trip make it a tougher ask?

VINSANITY (2) pushed on from the wide gate last start to find the front and was trying to fight them off in the stretch but was nabbed up the lane. A first up Redcliffe winner for the new stable two starts back, dropping back to the mile will see him throw it down hard.

DENNY ROCKS (8) was snookered last start and snuck through to finish midfield. Strong to the line from deep field the start prior for 3rd, he will be searching for the gaps again here.

JAYJAYBENNY (3) made metres int eh closing stages last start when 3rd behind DELE ROW. Sliding into the running line cheaply can see him chase another minor cheque.

SELECTIONS: RISK TAKER (1), VINSANITY (2), DENNY ROCKS (8), JAYJAYBENNY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2 / 1-2 / 3-8-9

RACE THREE

In recent starts the sectional efforts of STORMTIDE (10) have been impressive despite not receiving the winning reward. Strong to the line behind FREE THINKER last start when 6m away, the wide gate hampered his hopes the start prior. Tempo will assist his chances here.

GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1) will take benefit from his latest outing when resuming from a spell. Eased for position, he made good metres in the closing stages behind CAPTAINS PICK. With the economics on offer from this gate, he gets his chance to challenge.

CAPTAINS PICK (8) overcame the outside front line last time out when swooping hard and fast down the outside paint to arrive. With the cheap pole trip, he can charge through to feature.

LITTLE BOLT (4) started from outside the second line last start and was trying to work into the contest against the tempo. Pressing forward early here will assist his chances.

SELECTIONS: STORMTIDE (10), GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1), CAPTAINS PICK (8), LITTLE BOLT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: STORMTIDE (10) win

RACE FOUR

Game in defeat here last week when asked to sit parked by The Green Hornet from gate 7, after an opening panel in sub-27, THESUNANDTHEMOON (6) was still fighting late when holding on for the bronze. Dictating the start prior with 6m to spare, she can force the issue here to capitalise.

MIKI MAGIC (2) will appreciate a return to a front-line gate after her past three have been from the second line. Her last front-line appearance was a victory when pulling clear to an 8m margin and from this gate can get forward to throw down the challenge.

SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (9) has been in super form, in the money at her past 10 in succession, which includes six wins. Too slick for the ‘boys’ last start, the gate does make it a tough ask.

DIAMOND SHOOZ (1) needed the gaps last start that did not arrive when left probing. With the chance to tuck in behind the action, she can look for the last shot on them.

SELECTIONS: THESUNANDTHEMOON (6), MIKI MAGIC (2), SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (9), DIAMOND SHOOZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
THESUNANDTHEMOON (6) to win

RACE FIVE

A strong FFA line up here with a number of winning chances across the line up. Making his first appearance since claiming the track record, DUKE OF SCOTLAND (6) can look to extend his record here at The Creek which shows 11 starts for seven wins. With a slick pipe opener at the trials, he can take the next step here.

JIMARTEE (10) was first up from a spell here last week when settling rearward as they raced single file early. Finishing over the top of them for a smart return win, he will take good benefit from the run and if able to track into the race, will be issuing a closing challenge.

ARODA (3) pressed on from outside the front line here last week and was forced to do the heavy lifting outside the leader. Fighting hard for a head defeat, added fitness can see him feature.

CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (7) is afforded no favours from this gate but has been in great form this term, hitting the board in all five. Strong to the line last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DUKE OF SCOTLAND (6), JIMARTEE (10), ARODA (3), CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Second up from a spell here on Tuesday, OUR SWEET DELIGHT (5) started from inside the second line and struck trouble soon after the start to end his day. Chasing the gun FATE AWAITS the start prior, a return to this grade off this gate is a huge plus.

CALL TO ORDER (6) eased from gate 6 before rattling late and pulling clear to impressive victory two starts back. Faced with a wide second line gate last start when trying to make late metres, he finds the right conditions to throw down the challenge.

BOSTON BRONSKI (2) has hit the board in all five since returning for her 3YO term, the latest a Redcliffe victory when darting home on the passing lane. From the gate she has podium claims.

COSMIC FLYER (7) could not get warm last start after easing from gate 4 and settling rearward. Finding an easy tune up with a Redcliffe win the start prior, he can be joining in,

SELECTIONS: OUR SWEET DELIGHT (5), CALL TO ORDER (6), BOSTON BRONSKI (2), COSMIC FLYER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR SWEET DELIGHT (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

With wide gates at her past two starts, SWEET AGENDA (4) should appreciate a return to a tighter alley for this assignment. Chargin across to light the lamps from gate 7 two starts back, she was under 3m from the winner despite missing a cheque. This looks within reach.

ELEGANT GROOVES (8) attacked the line strongly here two starts back and went withing an eyelash of victory. Only a head away at her next start when luckless after ending up three poles from the inside second line, she capitalised here on Tuesday with a smart win. Second line options assist her challenging chances.

BONNIES DANCE (5) was stamped urgent off the arm here last week and from the front was able to claim a dictating victory. Only a neck away the start prior, she is right in the fight.

MISS FROUFROU (1) released from this gate here last week and when angled for the lane, darted through to grab the W. The gate is in her favour again and she can take her shot.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AGENDA (4), ELEGANT GROOVES (8), BONNIES DANCE (5), MISS FROUFROU (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET AGENDA (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

Doing her share of work in the run last start, KOWHAI BLAZE (2) held on for a midfield finish after starting from outside the second line. Eased from gate 7 and buried the start prior, she is at her best when going forward and a return to the main draw can see look to cash in.

SHEER ARTISTRY (7) was faced with the outside second line last start and was strong to the line in the closing stages when just a half-head from the winner. Taking benefit from that run where she was second up from a spell, the wide gate stings her challenging chances.

INDI AIR TONIGHT (6) was strong to the line last start from this same gate when finishing with the bronze and under 2m from the winner. A winner three starts back, she can feature here.

PET KITTY (10) was sent to the post as the fav here last week from outside the second line when grabbing the bronze behind ISLAND BOUHINIA, With a cart into the contest, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: KOWHAI BLAZE (2), SHEER ARTISTRY (7), INDI AIR TONIGHT (6), PET KITTY (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

In white hot form, GOLDEN SUNSET (2) has won five of her past seven and just a half-neck from the winner in the other two appearances. Pressing forward from the 10m to take control last start, she fought them off, holding a margin over NOT AS PROMISED. From the 10m, in the small field, she looks too sharp.

LOVE GUN (3) has been an enigma since arriving in Brisbane, his chances buried last start when making an error. Striking trouble to end his night and not his doing the start prior, he meets GOLDEN SUNSET 20m better than their last clash and if trotting cleanly, can challenge.

ZEALOUS SPUR (6) will appreciate the small field and backs up from Tuesday where he held on for the bronze behind NOT AS PROMISED in a slick 2138 mobile trip. Look for him chiming in.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SUNSET (2), LOVE GUN (3), ZEALOUS SPUR (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
GOLDEN SUNSET (2) to win
