Two big days of racing associated with the annual Capricorn Yearling Sale on April 3 and 4 at Callaghan Park offering almost $500K in prize money.
Saturday, April 4 is one of the richest days of racing on the Rockhampton Jockey Club’s calendar. Both the $125K+QTIS 2YO Classic and the $75K+QTIS 3&4YO Championship races are exclusive to graduates from past Sales.
The rich prize money offers an alluring incentive to purchase yearlings from the almost 100 on offer at the Rockhampton Showgrounds on Sunday, April 5 which is the centrepiece of the three day carnival.
