The national championships are two of the most exciting events on the Australian greyhound calendar, with runners representing each state. Greyhounds from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania race in heats and finals over both Sprint and Distance competitions.
Each state will host their Sprint and Distance finals in a schedule that has resulted in rolling national television coverage of greyhound racing on Sky 2, free of additional charge.
Viewers will be able to watch all the racing action as usual on Sky 1, however Sky 2 will have dedicated on-course television hosts at each location keeping greyhound racing fans up to date with each racing event as it happens as well as previews, reviews and expert tips.
The Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club offers a unique entertainment package complete with gourmet finger food, drinks and some of the most exciting greyhound racing in Australia.
Our private function areas overlooking the track, include wait staff and private bar facilities, giving your group the VIP treatment without missing out on any of the lightning fast action.
And for those who have never been to the track, our resident tipsters and betting staff will help your party to punt like pro’s. We will also give you race names that will be broadcast over Sky Channel.

Albion Park Raceway, located on the banks of the famous Breakfast Creek just minutes from the Brisbane CBD, is the home of the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club.
Racing every Monday and Thursday evening (from 6:30pm), every Wednesday afternoon (from 3:00pm) and every Sunday twilight (from 5:00pm).
Admission is free at each meeting.
The Albion Park Raceway has full bistro and bar facilities available and offers a modern betting auditorium.
Function packages are available for all Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club race meetings.
