James Squire Oaks Day is one of the highlights of the TAB Queensland Winter Racing Carnival.
Celebrating fillies, food and fashion, the mighty mare that is Winx claimed her maiden Group 1 triumph in the 2200-metre feature before going on to capture the hearts of the nation with her barnstorming accomplishments.
Set to be run on June 5, Oaks Day includes a further five back-type races, along with the inaugural running of the $500,000 Queensland Sapphire Stakes.
With more than $2 million in prize money up for grabs, Eagle Farm promises to provide an incredible backdrop for the latest edition of the Oaks.
