Last year, it was Apache Chase and Alligator Blood that shone brightest, and this year the tradition continues.

Staged over 10 action-packed weeks, more than $25 million in prize money will go on the line, including eight Group 1s – seven of which surpassing $1 million.

The Queensland Racing Carnival returns to Eagle Farm this week for the final Group 1 of the season with the Tattersall’s Tiara, taken out in 2022 by local hero Startantes.

The famous Battle of the Bush will see a number of Queensland’s best country and regional horses battle it out on the big stage, with $200,000 once again up for grabs.
