Race 1: All Wheel Drive Centre Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – TIPSY ROCKET 2nd – MONASHEE LASS 3rd – SHE’S A RINGO 4th – JOYAU DE LA MER

TIPSY ROCKET - Shifted in abruptly, under hard riding, soon after jumping and bumped heavily with another runner. Stewards issued Jockey J Lambie with a reprimand for careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a). Was inclined to race greenly throughout. Stewards also fined Jockey Lambie the sum of $100.00 under the provisions of AR137A for using the whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres.

MY SPECIAL LADY – Had to be restrained after being bumped by another runner which shifted in abruptly soon after jumping.

SHE’S A RINGO – Was inclined to race greenly throughout.

MONASHEE LASS – Bumped with another runner soon after jumping.

JOYAU DE LA MER - Bumped with another runner soon after jumping. A post-race Veterinary examination of the filly revealed a poor recovery rate, but no further abnormalities.

Race 2: Happy 40th Birthday Terry Ayliffe Benchmark 45 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – CENTREHALF FORWARD 2nd – GIVE ME TIME 3rd – HONEST FRIEND 4th – WICKED THOUGHTS

VENCEREMOS – Began awkwardly after Jockey S Wiseman caught her leg on barrier upright and was subsequently placed at a disadvantage for the entirety of the event. Jockey Wiseman was attended post-race by on-course Paramedics and was cleared to fulfil her remaining engagements.

AUSSIE JEWEL – Began awkwardly. Bumped with another runner soon after jumping. Was tiring approaching the winning post when inconvenienced by another runner which was inclined to shift in under pressure.

WICKED THOUGHTS – Was bumped by another runner soon after jumping. Was wide rounding the home turn.

HONEST FRIEND – Bumped with another runner after beginning awkwardly. Shifted in under pressure approaching the winning post inconveniencing a tiring runner. Stewards issued Jockey N Yadi with a reprimand for careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a).

GIVE ME TIME – Was bumped by another runner on jumping. Stewards fined Jockey S Kaya the sum of $200.00 under the provisions of AR137A for using the whip on 9 occasions prior to the 100 metres.

FRENCHENKA – After considering a submission from Trainer Ms. R Inglis, Stewards acting under the provisions of AR140B(3) granted permission for the use of blinkers in today’s event. Was buffeted between runners when racing in restricted room near the 700 metres.

DAZZLING LADY – Bumped with another runner near the 700 metres. Stewards fined Jockey K Stone the sum of $100.00 under the provisions of AR137A for using the whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100 metres.

SILVER STAR – Became unbalanced after bumping with another runner near the 700 metres. Was inclined to lay in when placed under pressure down the running.

Race 3: Central Tyre Service QTIS Benchmark 60 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – PINCER STRIKE 2nd – AVIATOR GIRL 3rd – GO GIRLFRIEND 4th – VEE FORCE

STANDFORD – Was inconvenienced when crowded between runners soon after jumping.

GO GIRLFRIEND – Was inclined to race greenly in the early stages. Could not be fully tested over the final stages when unable to obtain clear running.

AVIATOR GIRL – Was inclined to race greenly down the running.

VEE FORCE – When questioned in relation to his riding of the gelding over the concluding stages Jockey F Edwards stated that it was inclined to lay in approaching the winning post placing him at a disadvantage.

Race 4: Goodyear Auto Care Class B Handicap 1400 metres:
1st – CUT’N’POLISH 2nd – LATEST EDITION 3rd – GREAT PRETENDER 4th – HUMPTY BUMPTY

GREAT PRETENDER – Lost ground when crowded between runners on jumping. Had to be restrained when attempting to improve into a marginal run near the 1200 metres. Was caught wide without cover in the middle stages.

SAY LA FI – Raced ungenerously and refused to settle in the early and middle stages placing Jockey S Kaya at a disadvantage.

THE HAWK ETERNAL – Bumped with another runner near the 300 metres.

RED SHAWL - Bumped with another runner near the 300 metres.

Race 5: Inspiration Paint MM FNQ Up & Coming Stayers Benchmark 65 Handicap 1800 metres:
1st – TRY ME DOL 2nd – LIL’ RED MONKEY 3rd – DESERT GAMBLER 4th – PROUD WARRIOR

PROUD WARRIOR – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

DESERT GAMBLER - Bumped with another runner on jumping.

TRY ME DOL – Was buffeted between runners on jumping.

HERE TO DASH – Was slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Was caught wide without cover in the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
