Race 1: PARAWAY PASTORAL CO. OPEN HANDICAP -  1000 metres 
 
HUGHIE AND ME was a late scratching at 8:18am.
 
D. Rewald was the rider of FOUR IRON, R. Faehr was the rider of NO OTHER WAY and S. McGovern was the rider of ALPINE GOLD and permitted to ride 2kg overweight as there were no other riders available.
 
ALPINE GOLD – Jumped away awkwardly losing ground.
 
FINNIGAN’S FOLLY – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages with no cover.
 
SCHOORWIN – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages with cover.
 
FOUR IRON – Held up for clear running down the home straight.
 
Race 2: CLONCURRY MUSTERING CO. QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
S. McGovern was the rider of I’M A CLANGER and permitted to ride 2kg overweight as there were no other riders available.
 
BURJ AL – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
ROYAL FROLIC – travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
Race 3: RABOBANK MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
ONE UP – Slow to begin.
 
JECHI – Travelled wide for the majority and raced greenly.
 
Race 4: FOREST PARK SANTA GERTRUDIS CLASS 3 PLATE -  1200 metres  
 
 
MY FLING – Hampered at the start by an outside runner jumping inwards causing the mare to lose ground.
 
SPURSYN – Jumped away awkwardly contacting an inside runner and losing ground then approaching the 800m raced into restricted room and had to be eased.
 
JESSE ‘N’ JAMES – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
WISCONSIN – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
Race 5: LAMBERT STUD CLASS B HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
ARMANI PRINCE – Slow to begin and slow into stride.
 
CASPERCCINO – Uncompetitive throughout.
 
PARANA – At the 900m clipped heels with a front runner when racing in restricted room and was eased momentarily.
 
Race 6: STRATHMORE BLACKALL CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m
 
S. McGovern was the rider of THE BUNSTA and permitted to ride 2kg overweight as there were no other riders available.
 
A DEPENDANT – Slow to begin and jockey D. McMaster stated the gelding hung to the entire race proving difficult to ride out.
