RACE ONE
Returning from a spell last start, KASH TIN (9) was able to overcome a second line gate and a tough trip to post a narrow victory. This is harder again but his record at the middle trip is good and taking benefit from the return run, can look to capitalise. THE MASKED CRUSADER (7) is afforded no favours from this gate, but he has tackled some strong 3YO opposition in the two starts since claiming victory at Redcliffe. Sent forward to do some early work, he held 3rd behind THE JANITOR last start and can be issuing the challenge. SCRUFFY (11) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when rolling the sleeved from outside the front line to be just 4m from the winner BORELLA. He can be chiming in again here. BARRETT (3) was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating and then never warmed up. Just 5m from the winner two starts back, settling handy will aid his chances.
SELECTIONS: KASH TIN (9), THE MASKED CRUSADER (7), SCRUFFY (11), BARRETT (3) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE TWO
Hitting some good areas in recent starts, MAJIC MOMENT (1) comes up with the improved gate after the two wins recorded from her past four starts have been from the second line over this middle trip. Posting slick sectionals in victory last start, she has the options to cash in. BONNIES DANCE (9) was snookered three back on the inside at Redcliffe last start where she finished just behind the placings. Beaten by the outside front line the start prior, she can look to press through in the early stages here to issue a challenge. DRIVE TO THE BEACH (5) tackled the Warwick Cup on the grass last time where he was able to hold on for the silver behind TARGARYEN. Luckless two starts back, he has podium claims here. LANAI (11) was runner-up last start over the mile when making some good metres in the closing stages to be 2m astern of the winner MONSIEUR DELACOUR. He can be chiming in.
SELECTIONS: MAJIC MOMENT (1), BONNIES DANCE (9), DRIVE TO THE BEACH (5), LANAI (11) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE THREE
An open contest here where NASHVILLE BART (4) can look to make the most of his best gate in some time. Working hard in the run last start when fading over the closing stages at the middle trip, his effort here three back when runner-up is the type of effort that can see him in this. YANKEE C J (1) should be further tightened from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Forced to work hard in the run when sent forward from the wide gate to do the heavy lifting, the improved gate is a huge plus in his challenging chances. ALLORNOTHINGLEVI (10) set the tempo last start from gate 2 and led them deep into the stretch, only collared in the last strides. He has podium claims again. WEHAVTIME (5) has now had three starts since joining the Belford stable from NZ, the latest when too far back after retreating from a wide gate. He can be sharper here.
SELECTIONS: NASHVILLE BART (4), YANKEE C J (1), ALLORNOTHINGLEVI (10), WEHAVTIME (5) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE FOUR
Overcoming the 10m tape last start, GET USED TO IT (6) took cover and then when angled from behind the leader, was able to power home to post an 8m margin. A gritty 2nd from behind the start car at Menangle the start prior, he has the class to chalk up another one. HAMMER SON (10) was trying to issue the closing challenge last start when runner-up behind VICTREE HILL. Only 2m away after securing the right trip in behind the speed, it followed a handy effort behind ROYAL DAN. Back to this grade he can see him throw it down. INSTANT DELIGHT (2) was locked away on the inside last start from the stand, hitting the line strongly once finding open space in the closing stages. Settling handy can see her feature again. BANFF (5) was a winner at Redcliffe over the 2280 two starts back when finding the front and seeing them off. Hitting the line in good order last start, he can be thereabouts.
SELECTIONS: GET USED TO IT (6), HAMMER SON (10), INSTANT DELIGHT (2), BANFF (5) SUGGESTED BET: GET USED TO IT (6) to win
RACE FIVE
Hitting the board at each of his past three starts, ZOOM PARTY (10) has a tough gate to negotiate but his recent form looks strong enough to deliver on this assignment. Taking his shot up the passing last start when just a head from the winner, he can arrive in this. JUDITH GWENDA (4) overcame the outside of the second line at the middle trip here three starts back and followed that with a luckless trip when unable to secure forward position and force to retreat. Settling handy can see her issue a challenge here. THE TIGER ARMY (6) loomed strongly and then pulled away from the opposition to post a big 15m margin here two starts back. A beaten fav last start, the wide gate dents his chances. MADAME WEST (8) scored at Redcliffe four runs back and followed that with successive placings on The Triangle. Fading last start, she will be probing for the openings here.
SELECTIONS: ZOOM PARTY (10), JUDITH GWENDA (4), THE TIGER ARMY (6), MADAME WEST (8) SUGGESTED BET: ZOOM PARTY (10) to win
RACE SIX
Having produced some consistent performances in recent starts, KICKATINALONGPONY (1) secures the ideal gate to chase his first win since July. Collared in the last strides after setting the tempo last start, he can stalk the speed here and look to fire the final shot. PARAMA (3) fired off the arm to take control from gate 5 last start and from the front was able to take them all the way with 3m to spare. Placed in both prior outings, he can run the arm here and be gripping on in the stretch. MIRACLE MOOSE (8) secure the economical trip in behind the speed last start and made the most of his shot via the passing lane when the gap presented to score. He will be probing again. LAST TIME JOE (4) was making good metres in the stretch last start after settling in the 1x1 trail and finishing with the bronze when under 2m from the winner. Look for him in the closing stages.

RACE SEVEN
A mixed maiden race that does not appear to have a clear standout can see SHARP AS CAMM BE (5) look to open her account. Running 3rd on debut, albeit a long way from the winner SAVAGE STORM, she will take experience from the run. ROCKWITHBON JUJON (9) has placed in four of her eight starts, the latest when best of the chasing pack behind SAVAGE STORM. Trying to see them off at Redcliffe the start prior when collared in the closing stages, she can issue a challenge. SELECTIONS: SHARP AS CAMM BE (5), ROCKWITHBON JUJON (9), ELIARN (3), MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (2) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE EIGHT
The figure form next to the name of FEELIN FLIRTY (1) does not provide inspired reading, but he will come into this race fresh off a last start last at Marburg when faced with a tough second line gate. Buried away the start prior, he finds the conditions to improve his strike rate on this deck. MACS A DUDE (8) struck trouble last start when trying to find a way clear of the inside. Trying to make a late raid when just behind the placings, it followed a luckless effort when put out of play in a scrimmage. With the chance to stalk the speed, he can be ready to take the snipers shot. TACKAS LAST DANCE (9) started from inside the second line last start and buried away was held up when the winner kicked clear. A similar peg position can see her chime in here. DEECEE ROCKIN (6) held on for the silver at Redcliffe two starts back and then last start was not suited at the 2138. Positioning cheaply can see him find the podium.
SELECTIONS: FEELIN FLIRTY (1). MACS A DUDE (8), TACKAS LAST DANCE (9), DEECEE ROCKIN (6) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-8-9
RACE NINE
MY RUMOUR HAS IT (1) has won six races here at HQ with four of those when leading off the front tape. Those conditions present here and with her last three from the tapes coming off a mark, returning to the front tape here can be the catalyst for her to dictate. BENJI HALL (10) was buried and when the gap opened, hit the line strongly here last time out. Finishing just 2m from the winner, he will start from the same tape and if able to thread a passage through the traffic, he is up to challenging. ALDEBARAN FONZ (12) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when powering home over the latter stages to post a 2m margin. 30m and a full field to get around looks the hurdle. MAJESTIC SUNDAY (11) finally put it together last start and had the close out speed to arrive for victory. With over one month between appearances, if he can trot cleanly, he has claims.
SELECTIONS: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (1), BENJI HALL (10), ALDEBARAN FONZ (12), MAJESTIC SUNDAY (11) SUGGESTED BET: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (1) to win
