Race 1: Bulk Sand & Natural Aggs Class 3 Plate 800 metres:
1st – MOUNTAIN LANE 2nd – HIDDEN REIGN 3rd – CAPT’N THUNDERBIRD 4th – OCEAN LINER

ORCHESTRAL PRINCE – Reared at the start and lost ground. Trainer Ms D Snelling was told that a warning would be placed on the gelding.

OCEAN LINER – Was slow into stride.

Passing the 350 metres FLAMINGO ROSE (Jockey K Aho) had to be steadied when HIDDEN REIGN (Apprentice T Tincknell) shifted in when not quite clear. Apprentice Tincknell was advised to exercise more care in the future.

CAPT’N THUNDERBIRD – Was inclined to lay in over the concluding stages.

Race 2: Country Road Motel Class B Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – REMOS 2nd – MISS MYSTIFIED 3rd – TAXEDTOTHEHILT 4th – TUNE UP WARRIOR

MORE GEORGE – Bumped at the start.

TUNE UP WARRIOR – Bumped at the start.

EDITORIALE – Was tightened for room at the start. Jockey J Long was reprimanded under AR137A(5)(a)(i) for using his whip on the gelding on 2 consecutive strides.

AKHEILOS – Raced ungenerously in the back straight.

TAXEDTOTHEHILT – When questioned regarding his riding Jockey G Watson explained that he was instructed to race in a midfield position or better, however the gelding could not muster sufficient speed in the early stages then resented the kickback.

Race 3: Pacific Bathrooms QTIS Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – DELTA MAGIC 2nd – DIAMONDNET 3rd – DORA’S MAGIC 4th – LUCKY APACHE

RED SOLO - Was a late withdrawal at 9.38am when no rider was available.

CASINO DREAMZ - Was a late withdrawal at 12.30pm when no rider was available.

DIAMONDNET – Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards viewed the start of the race and were able to ascertain that the front gates occupied on the 2nd placegetter DIAMONDNET were slow to open however acting under the provisions of AR134A the gelding was declared a runner.

THE HURRICANE – Bumped at the start.

DORA’S MAGIC – Bumped at the start. Had to be steadied when racing in restricted room rounding the home turn.

DELTA MAGIC – Disappointed for a run passing the 400 metres before shifting wider to obtain clear running.

Race 4: Hammer & Co Earthmoving Benchmark 60 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – GESTICULATION 2nd – SUNNY CHIEF 3rd – COURT ACTION 4th – COWARDOFTHECOUNTY

HELLOW TUCKER - Was a late withdrawal at 9.38am when no rider was available.

DON’T TELL PETE - Was a late withdrawal at 9.38am when no rider was available.

Correct weight was delayed whilst connections of UNDIAMO viewed the photo for the minor placing’s, on doing so connections were satisfied and correct weight was declared.

NARSONS DUKE – Raced in restricted throughout the back straight.

DIURNAL TIGER – Was inclined to lay out in the back straight.

Shortly after straightening DIURNAL TIGER (Jockey K Aho) was directed to the outside of GESTICULATION (Jockey B Thomson), and in doing so bumped the hindquarters of WATCH OF THE RED (Jockey G Kliese) which became unbalanced, shifted out and made contact with COURT ACTION (Apprentice T Tincknell). Jockey Aho was asked to exercise more care in future.

Race 5: Magic Million Towers Cup Benchmark 55 Handicap 1600 metres:
1st – FILLE VILAINE 2nd – LARABEE 3rd – BEG PARDON 4th – SYDNEY HARBOUR

ZIGGY’S SPIRIT - Was a late withdrawal at 9.38am when no rider was available.

ULTRA RED - Was a late withdrawal at 9.38am when no rider was available.

BEG PARDON – Slow into stride then raced keenly throughout the early stages.

WINDSOR GOLD – Raced ungenerously throughout the early and middle stages.
