Race 1: KOKODA MAIDEN PLATE 800m

GIFTED VENTURE – Laid in under pressure the entire. Shifted out and bumped another runner near the 650m. Bumped by another runner approaching the 150m.

LITTLE BOMBER – Jumped out at the start tightening another runner.

PUBLIC FORTUNE – Jumped in the air at the start and then was tightened for room losing ground.

NEW MOON – Forced wide by another runner rounding the home turn.

MONTE VICTORY- Tightened for room near the 650m and lost ground.


Race 2: JIM PUGSLEY MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1400m

WILD GODSON-Slow to begin.



Race 3: NUI DAT BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1200m

FERRIGNO- Slow to begin.

MISS RALPHIE- Knuckled on jumping away dislodging its rider S Egan.

THAT’S THE PLAN- Forced wider on the track by the riderless horse near the 750m and was forced to race wide for the remainder.

UNO JOKER- Tightened for room at the start by runners either side.

Race 4: VIETNAM VETERANS & LONG TAN BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1000m

SAN DIEGUITO- Declared a late scratching at 11:24am by order of stewards as there was no rider available.

MRS ASIA- Began awkwardly and made contact with another runner.

STITCHIEN TIME- Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained near the 800m.

KATZENPFOETCHEN- Steadied to avoid the heels of EXSTRATUM which shifted out at the 300m and again near the 50m. S Egan the rider of EXSTRATUM was advised to exercise more care.

RHYTHM NATION- Bumped at the start. Steadied when forced wider by another runner approaching the finish line.


Race 5: GALLIPOLI OPEN HANDICAP 1000m

FOUR IRON- On returning to scale, Jockey reported that the horse was unable to muster early speed and travelled some distance behind the main body of the field which he attributed to the horse carrying 66kg in today’s event. Jockey Dixon added that the gelding made strong ground over the concluding stages.

POLAR BLITZ - Raced wide without cover for the majority .

STORM CRAZY- Began awkwardly.
