SUPPLIMENTARY REPORT- 
Due to a shortage of riders attending this meeting, the following horses were all scratched due to no rider being available. BROWN CAVIAR, DENMAN DREAMING and RUBY RED GIFT.
 
RACE 1: FRANK CAVANOUGH MEMORIAL RATINGS BAND 0-45 HCAP 1200M-
 
ZOOMING OVER YOU- Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
ARTFUL SONG- Raced wide throughout.
 
HIGHWAY CHILD- App. N Morton was fined $200 for using her whip on more than 5 occasions prior to the 100m.
 
TRUST NO ONE- Hung out throughout.
 
THE SMUGGLER- On returning to scale Jockey C Bryen reported that in his opinion the gelding was not suited by the fast early tempo of today’s event and furthermore the drop back in distance from its most recent start was not to its advantage.
 
RACE 2: RIVERINA QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1100M
 
MARKISTA- Blundered on jumping away.
 
ROBODAN- Steadied from heels near the 800m and then commenced to hang out for the remainder of the event.
 
SIDEREUS SMILE- Tightened for room at the start, then failed to muster early speed and as a result lost considerable ground.
 
PART THE SEA- Began awkwardly.
 
GOLD CROWN- Began awkwardly.
 
CLASSIC WIND- Slow to begin.
 
RACE 3: BERNADETTE DOYLE ACCOUNTING/CHARLEVILLE PHARMACY BENCHMARK 55 HCAP 1400 M
 
MONEY AD- Over raced in the early stages.
 
ZOOMESDAY- Raced wide throughout. On return to scale rider reported the gelding felt short in its action when placed under pressure in the home straight. A post-race Veterinary inspection failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
ZOOMING- Knuckled badly on jumping away and lost considerable ground. Raced wide throughout.
 
REBEL ICON- Raced wide throughout.
 
MY MATE MARTO- Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 4: CHARLEVILLE TYRE SERVICE/CHARLEVILLE CONCRETE BENCHMARK 60 HCAP 1000M
 
BELLA SONG- Bumped on jumping away.
 
ISSY COMMAND- Jumped out at the start making contact with another runner.
 
NOOR DROPPER- Tightened for room and checked near the 800m. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey L Tilley pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under Ar137(a) in that near the 800m he permitted WALLBANGER to shift in when insufficiently clear of GOLOVKIN which was taken in, tightening the running of BELLA SONG, ISSY COMMAND and NOOR DROPPER which was checked. Jockey Tilley’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days commencing midnight 7-11-17 and to expire midnight 15-11-17.
 
WALLBANGER- Became unbalanced and lost ground near the 500m.
 
RACE 5: BLUE HILLS THROUGHBREDS CHARLEVILLE CUP OPEN HCAP 1620M
 
PALACE TYCOON- Slow to begin.
 
A DEPENDANT- Raced in restricted room near the 800m.
 
HUNTER ISLAND- Made contact with barrier partition on jumping away.
 
CRAWFISH- Raced wide throughout.
 
OUTBACK PIRATE- Raced wide throughout.
