Race 1: BRODIE & CO MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
 
The start of this race was delayed due to complications with the photo finish equipment.
 
McKEEGAN – D. Ballard was permitted to ride the gelding 1kg over its allotted weight when no other suitable rider was available. Began awkwardly and jumped inwards.
 
TOSS OF A COIN – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
GOTTA MINUTE – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
PRINCIPLE – Raced wide from the 800m onwards.
 
GLENCOE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.      
 
Race 2: WOODHAM PETROLEUM SERVICES BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1000m
 
KARMA FORCE – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping another runner. Attempted to buck shortly after the start. Trainer T. Parry was advised the horse must trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to being permitted to race again.
 
LADY CHICAGO – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
TEMERITY – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
STONE PHILOSPHER – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
CRYSTAL BEAR – Post race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off front leg. Trainer J. Jackson was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance of fitness prior to the horse being permitted to race again.
 
Race 3: THE CLONCURRY TYRES & BATTERIES/CTI BATTERIES OPEN H’CAP – 1000M
 
YARRAPOWER – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Began awkwardly. Trainer J. Morris was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
WICKED WIKI – Raced wide in the early stages. 
 
Race 4: THYNNE & MACARTNEY BENCHMARK 45 H’CAP – 1200m
 
Due to barrier gates 4 and 5 being damaged and unable to be used, all horses were moved out 2 barrier positions from barrier 3 for the remainder of the day.
 
FAST SUN – Bounded in the air as the start was effected.
 
SHORT TERM – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SERIOUSLY HAPPY – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
WYCH MAGIC – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
MOVING TARGET – Raced wide rounding the 1000m turn.     
 
Race 5: GARY CANNON MEMORIAL CLASS 4 PLATE – 1400m
 
PRINCE OF BARODA – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
MAKATITI – Slow to begin. Over-raced in the early stages.
 
RAPTOR – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
