After taking statements from both Mr. Malliff and Jockey K Rockett in relation to riding instructions and reviewing patrol footage, Stewards were of the opinion that Jockey Rockett had, after jumping from the inside barrier, ridden to instructions to the 800 metres but that his positioning in the field from that point had limited his opportunities to improve to the outside of other runners as per Mr. Malliffs instructions. As such no further action was taken.
