1st - PLATINUM TYCOON 2nd - TALK ABOUT A SAGA 3rd - MY FRIEND ROB 4th - WILD AZ WILL

Jockey K. Rockett was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under A.R. 137(a) in that shortly after the start he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of ROUGE LASS (Apprentice R. Payne), which was crowded and carried in onto DRAGON ROCKET (Apprentice C. Jokic), which had to be checked and lost its rightful running, and further, that he then permitted his mount to shift in resulting in ROUGE LASS being taken in onto TALK ABOUT A SAGA (Jockey S. Wiseman), carrying that gelding in onto the hindquarters of BUCK'S ME BOY (Jockey P. Cullen). Jockey Rockett was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at the expiration of the suspension imposed at Mareeba on 6th August 2016, 24th August 2016, up to and including midnight on 2nd September 2016.

BUCK'S ME BOY - On returning to scale Jockey P. Cullen reported that his mount raced greenly throughout.

JACARANDA KING - When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, Jockey D. Simmons explained that, after being buffeted between runners at the start, his mount never travelled comfortably at any stage, and further, that shortly after straightening, when crowded by another runner, his mount failed to respond at this point and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

Wiseman), which was taken in by ROSE OF CLARE (Jockey P. Cullen) when that mare was inclined to lay in away from ANZUS (Apprentice C. Jokic). CHOI OI (Apprentice L. Attard), which was following, was hampered, shifted out abruptly and carried EREBUS (Jockey S. Kaya) wider.
