RACE 1: CHESTERFIELD PLATE MAIDEN PLATE 1200M-
PRIDE OF ASCOT- Trainer K. Kemp was fined $100 for the late gear change of Blinkers for the mare.
BOUCHARD- As Apprentice Hodge was unable to claim down to his declared riding weight, he was replaced by App A. Spinks. Apprentice Hodge was fined $100. Slow to begin.
LIGHTNING JACKSON- Raced wide throughout.
OUR BOY BOLT- Steadied from heels near the 500m, and raced greenly in the home straight.
 
RACE 2: DALBY RURAL SUPPLIES CLASS B H’CAP 1400M-
LA LA ROCK- Slow to begin.
REMISSIO- Slow to begin.
 
RACE 3: BMO BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP 1200M-
SHE’S A KICKER- Declared a late scratching at 2:45pm as there were no riders available after App. A Spinks was kicked in the enclosure and was subsequently unfit to fulfil his engagement. Upon the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on SHE’S A KICKER be refunded, with the following deductions to apply-
1st- 11 cents the win 15 cents the place.
2nd- 21 cents the place
3rd- 16 cents the place.
Apprentice Spinks was transported to Dalby hospital for further treatment.
DRINKING COCKTAILS- Began awkwardly resulting in the rider becoming unbalanced.
REDDAMOUR- Bumped at the start.
RHIATENN ROAD- Near the 400m shifted out and was checked badly to avoid the heels of another runner.
RACE 4: PACIFIC SEEDS OPEN H’CAP 1300M-
KURRAJONG DRAGON- C Bayliss was the replacement rider.
BILLY GOAT- Jumped in the air at the start and lost ground.
ROBERT’S COMMAND- Neither Trainer T Dougall or Jockey N Evans could offer any explanation for the disappointing performance.
RACE 5: RUTEC BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP 1788M-
Il PADRONE- App. J Hodge was the replacement rider.
No racing incidents.
