Jockey Browne added that whilst his mount was inclined to hang in slightly, he was endeavouring to adhere to instructions and improve to the outside of the heels of ROYAL HUSSY near the 100m. He added however that in hindsight he may have erred with this manoeuvre and should have improved to the inside of ROYAL HUSSY. Jockey Browne also stated that the colt raced greenly throughout. Trainer K. Schweida reported the horse lost its near fore plate in running.

MEGA D’ORO – Change of tactics. Connections advised that from the good barrier draw, the gelding would be ridden in a more forward position if circumstances permit. The horse subsequently took up a handy position.
