Laxon was fined $100 for failing to produce the horse’s Thoroughbred Identification Card. MR WIND – Trainer T. Edmonds was fined $100 for failing to produce the horse’s Thoroughbred Identification Card. WONGUR – Raced wide without cover. WHO’S YOUR DADDY – Blundered on jumping. AIRLIE MAN – Jumped awkwardly. Became unbalanced near the 800m when being steadied. ERCOLANO – Had to check near the 800m to avoid heels and shifted out. Held up rounding the home turn. Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to GOOD 3 retrospective. Race 2: JOHNS LYNG GROUP F&M MAIDEN H’CAP – 1200M The start of this race was delayed when JENNIFER JUNIPER was reluctant to proceed to the barriers. JENNIFER JUNIPER – Lost the off hind plate in running. MAGICALITY – Forced wider near the 700m. TIZABEE – Had to check away from heels near the 650m. LIPSTICK LOVER – Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn. ROUGISSANTE – Shifted outwards away from heels near the 700m. Race 3: MORSE BUILDING CONSULTANCY QTIS 3YO FILLIES MAIDEN H’CAP – 1050M TIZ – Overraced in the early stages. LIL’ DRUMMER GIRL – Slow to begin. MASKED MODEL – Jumped awkwardly and then bumped another runner. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. NICE TO DREAM – Shifted out and away from another runner near the 850m. REAL NINA – Raced wide throughout. RUBESTAR – Trainer S. Kendrick was fined $100 for failing to lodge a stable return by the prescribed time. Had to be severely checked after being briefly tightened for room near the 900m. Stewards could not attribute blame to any one rider. VITAL LOVE – Bumped on jumping. HIDDEN BUDGET – Laid in under pressure in the early stages of the straight. Race 4: ICPS CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1050M POWERFUL SAGA – Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped another runner. Had difficulty obtaining clear running from inside the 200m. MY FIRECRACKER – Bumped on jumping. MAJELLA MAGIC – Shifted in to avoid heels passing the 600m. MORE PATASI – Jumped awkwardly. LIESL LASS – Raced wide without cover until the 600m. Shifted in near the 600m when not fully clear of runners to the inside. J. Morris was advised to exercise more care in future. TEMPLE TILT – Had to steady away from heels after leaving the 600m when MAJELLA MAGIC shifted in. RUBYCUE – Raced wide without cover. Race 5: COWAN RESTORATION C,G&E CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1200M BEARSKIN – The veterinary surgeon reported that following the event the horse coughed and showed signs of blood in the nearside nostril. Trainer T. Gollan was advised that the horse must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward. TACTICIAN – J. Orman reported at scale that his mount raced flat today and did not finish the race off as expected. MR HENNESSY – Slow to begin and then tightened for room shortly after the start. Raced wide without cover. TURKANA – Pulled hard in the middle stages. Laid in under pressure in the straight. Race 6: ADVANCED BUILDINGS F&M CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1200M NOTONYOURLIFE – Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages. DAISY DUKE – When questioned, trainer D. Roberts explained that the mare failed to handle the track conditions at Eagle Farm at its previous start. KUZNETSOVA – J. Oliver reported at scale that his mount commenced to hang out after leaving the 600m. Race 7: BMR BUILDING GROUP CLASS 4 H’CAP – 1350M STAROCITY – Connections advised that it would be the intention to have the horse ridden in a forward position if circumstances permit. The horse was ridden accordingly. BINARY – Late scratching at 3.33 pm on veterinary advice that the horse had sustained an injury in its race day stall. BECKONING LIGHT – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Race 8: BAY BUILDING SERVICES CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1600M The start of this race was delayed when FLITERO required farrier attention. FLITERO – Raced wide throughout. BROCSON – Bumped on jumping. Raced in restricted room after leaving the 200m and had to be steadied at the 150m. ESKIMO KING – Raced wide throughout. Had to steady approaching the winning post when tightened for room. GOOD INTENTIONS – Had to be checked away from heels approaching the 200m. BEXSTAR – Overraced in the middle stages. Held up from the 200m and approaching the 100m again had to be steadied. AGORA – Raced in restricted room for some distance passing the 700m. Taken out on to MAGIC IN ACTION in the vicinity of the 200m and passing that point and had to be checked to avoid the heels of GOOD INTENTIONS. R. McMahon, the rider of GOOD INTENTIONS, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR. 137(a) in that at that point he allowed his mount to shift ground when not fully clear of AGORA. R. McMahon’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days, to commence at midnight on Sunday 11 September and expire at midnight on Monday 19 September 2016. In assessing penalty, stewards took into account jockey McMahon’s good riding record. STELLA DI NOTTE – Held up in the early stages of the straight until the 200m. UNASSUMING – Bumped on jumping. FAVOURED GRACE – Raced wide throughout. Had to be checked approaching the 250m to avoid the heels of ESKIMO KING, which shifted in when not fully clear. Apprentice R. Williams, the rider of ESKIMO KING, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR. 137(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift in when not fully clear of FAVOURED GRACE. Apprentice Williams’ licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 9 days, to commence at midnight on Saturday 10 September and expire at midnight on Monday 19 September 2016.
