SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT6/10/21Doomben Race 6 stable representative Mr B Killion for C Waller Stable advised that following the disappointing performance of MERIMEE it would now be sent for a spell. GENERAL As Jockey B Elissa (injured) and Ryan Wiggins (personal) were unavailable, rider changes were made as per the race day summary. Race 1: TAB Class 3 Plate 1000 metres Saddle Boy – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Shamaton – Began awkwardly. Zingalong – Raced wide throughout. Head On Up – Jockey J Byrne reported that his mount was inclined to lay out near the 800m and raced wide for the remainder. Proudly Grey – Raced wide throughout. Race 2: WIDDEN BASIL NOLAN JR Two-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Plate 1000 metres Golden Artie – Co -Trainer Bryan G was fined $200 pursuant to AR227(a) for an incorrect gear notification. Raced keenly early. Held up approaching the home turn. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Mishani Warfare – Heavily bumped leaving the 800m when COCOBREW EXPRESS hung out when racing greenly. Raced wide for the remainder. Palazzo Spirit – Bumped on jumping. Laid out over the final 100m. Cocobrew Express – Raced greenly and hung out leaving the 800m, bumping with MISHANI WARFARE. Raced wide for the remainder. Maximum Altitude – Began moderately then bumped. Mishani Mental – Raced wide throughout. Refuel – Raced greenly. Race 3: LEXUS Two-Years-Old Fillies Plate 1000 metres Exo Lady – Laid out over the final 100m. Mishani Jewel – Slow to begin then crowded and lost ground. Steadied from heels near the 800m when racing greenly. Possover – Steadied from heels near the 800m. Racing Page – Raced wide. Bumped heavily with EXCUSE ME approaching the home when racing greenly. Spanish Angels – Slow to begin. Better Times – Began awkwardly. Excuse Me – Bumped heavily with RACING PAGE approaching the home when racing greenly. Ongoing Interest – Hampered on jumping then raced wide for the remainder. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to the inside of its off hind fetlock. Shalook – Hung out for the majority. Tyresa – Began awkwardly then raced wide for the remainder. Race 4: ALL STONE SPECIALISTS QTIS Three-Years-Old Handicap 1000 metres Princess Bojack – Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight. Tiger Heart – Fractious in the barriers then began moderately. Near the 800m raced ungenerously and steadied from heels when the pace steadied. Held up rounding the home turn and until approaching the 300m. Glorious Ruby – Near the 800m raced ungenerously and steadied from heels when the pace steadied. Shifted out under pressure over the final 200m. Maximum Output – Began awkwardly. Fetch – Near the 800m raced ungenerously and steadied from heels when the pace steadied. Win Burn – Slow to begin then raced wide throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Race 5: THE MONTAGUE HOTEL, WEST END BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1805metres Foreign Territory (NZ) – Raced wide early. Genuine Al (NZ) – Began awkwardly. Over raced in the early and middle stages. Senrima Tide (NZ) – Slow to begin. Improved three wide when the pace steadied passing the 1100m. Raced wide for the remainder. Aswaat – Slow to begin. Eelloh – Began awkwardly. Sienna's Choice – Raced three wide over the final 700m. Southern Stock (NZ) – Slow to begin then hampered. Improved three wide when the pace steadied passing the 1100m before positioning outside the leader near the 800m. Race 6: HARRISONS MENSWEAR BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1400 metres Dreamtimer – Trainer K Kemp advised that the gelding will be ridden with cover circumstances permitting. Ridden accordingly. Alpendurada – Raced keenly early. Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400m and 200m. Enterprise Keren – Raced greenly and shifted ground when placed under pressure over the final 200m. Jack the Lad – Raced wide throughout. The Minivan – Slow to begin. Danezel – Slow to begin. Mister Larrabee – Performed below market expectations. Jockey L Cassidy felt the gelding was positioned well enough but did not run on as expected in the home straight and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. The Dark (NZ) - Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400m and 200m. Race 7: NAK HAIR NUDGEE COLLEGE OLD BOYS' CUP OPEN 1400 metres Emerald Kingdom – Pulled hard in the middle stages. Our Playboy – Slow to begin. Jockey R Fradd reported that in his opinion the gelding did not appreciate today’s track conditions. Flash Aah – Apprentice M Wishart was fined $500 pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that she used her whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. Snitch – Momentarily steadied from the heels of SAMURAI shortly after jumping. Ligulate – Slow to begin. Vinco – Slow to begin. Samurai – Began awkwardly. Race 8: XXXX QUEENSLAND CUP 2406metre Honorable Spirit – Apprentice J Lloyd was fined $500 pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. Top Order – Slow to begin. Chocolatier (NZ) – Near the 600m momentarily steadied from the heels of HONORABLE SPIRIT on a number of occasions. Tides Of Jupiter – Leaving the home straight on the first occasion was tightened for racing room when WONDERFUL DAY stepped in and away from NAVY CROSS which was also progressing forward. Fu Ni – Fractious in the barriers. Carried wider rounding the home turn when TIDES OF JUPITER shifted wider to improve. Zamosa (NZ) – Slow to begin. Pulled hard in the middle stages. Lunasnit – Carried wider rounding the home turn when TIDES OF JUPITER shifted wider to improve. Sir Gunsen – Began awkwardly. Commenced to give ground leaving the 600m. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer C Zintillis advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell.
