INFINITE MISS stood flat footed and missed the start by several lengths then raced wide throughout without cover. Trainer D Gardner was advised that INFINITE MISS must pass a barrier jump out prior to starting again.
BOOMTOWN BOY raced wide throughout without cover.

Race 2: EVE & DAVE MALONE QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 METRES
1st – FAB’S COWBOY 2nd – ELDIYM 3rd – CUBA ROSE 4th – THAT PRETTY GIRL

RING DING slipped on jumping then raced wide throughout without cover.
THAT PRETTY GIRL raced wide throughout without cover.
ELDIYM raced wide throughout without cover.

Race 3: DALTON RACING Benchmark 60 Handicap 1000 METRES
1st – MAH BAKER 2nd – DUAN THEO 3rd – GARDER LA FOI 4th – PIPIT

Stewards accepted the explanation of Trainer D Schultz for the late declaration of the rider for DUAN THEO

IDOL FACTOR was declared a late scratching at 9:50am due to no rider being available.

BORN TO SURVIVE was slow into stride.
LEAPS AND BOUNDS raced wide throughout.
WATASHAM raced wide throughout and held up momentarily in the home straight.

BORN TO SURVIVE - Jockey D. Evans was fined $400 for use of his whip on the gelding on 2 occasions more than is permissible under the rule, 3 of which were in consecutive strides.

Jockey A Lawrence the rider of PIPIT failed to weigh in for fourth was fined the sum of $100.00 under the terms of AR144.

CLASPED and GLENROCK MAX made contact on jumping.
ISIS SPINNER raced wide in the early and middle stages.
SHOCKWAVE- Rider advised stewards that it resented the wet sand coming back and that it failed to stretch out at any stage during the race. SHOCKWAVE was sent to veterinary surgeon to be checked and no abnormalities were found.
