Race 2: Alley’s of Riverstone Class B Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – RULISTIC 2nd – SAGA’S PRINCESS 3rd – SNITZEL ROSE 4th – MAN OF BUSINESS

Prior to the declaration of Correct Weight Stewards inquired into the reason why HOPEFULLY GOOD (S Kaya) and SNITZEL ROSE (P Cullen) began from incorrect barriers. After speaking with Starter Mr P Kennedy, and both riders it was established that the incident had occurred as a result of miscommunication behind the barriers. After viewing available patrol footage Stewards were of the opinion that this occurrence had not materially prejudiced the chances of either runner and, acting under the provisions of AR134 declared Correct Weight on the semaphored numbers. No further action was taken.
