General: Jky D Gill approached Stewards prior to the commencement of this meeting claiming the Trainer of VISONA ROSE Mr M Baileyhad approached her requesting she ride this filly at todays meeting. An inquiry was held into this complaint where Trainer Mr M Bailey stated he had approached Jky D Gill to ride VISONA ROSE (Race 3) at todays meeting with Jky Gill advising she would ride this filly. Mr Bailey further stated that when the owners of VISONA ROSE became aware Trainer Mr B Gill has decided to nominate a runner for race 3 they decided to engage another rider. Jky D Gill stated she did not seek another ride for this race as she was committed to ride VISONA ROSE, and only became aware that she was not the rider of VISONA ROSE when jockeys declaration was made available on the net. Stewards advised Mr M Bailey he had the opportunity to contact Jky D Gill to advise of the owners concern prior to jockeys declaration and therefore Stewards instructed Mr Bailey to pay Jky D Gill a losing/winning ride pending the horse running a place (placed 4th).

BINRASY (Jky J Appo) dipped on jumping away.

LOVE THAT CHICK (Jky R Hancock) jumped awkwardly.

LOVE THAT CHICK raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

KELCULATE (App T Huxham) raced wide throughout the race.

The winner HOT FLUSHES was swabbed.

Race 2 DUFF RED BRANGUS MAIDEN PLATE 1465 MTRS

(1) RENTRAP (2) MOONJUMPER (3) RUNNING FOR ROSES (4) STAR OF RYAN

LIGHTLY GREY (App K Mozibe) reared over when barrier attendants were trying to place the gelding into the barriers dislodging its rider. LIGHTLY GREY was declared a late scratching at 2-07pm acting on the advice of the Club Vet. App Mozibe was transported to Gympie General Hospital by Ambulance with suspected injury to his ankle. App K Mizobe is to have a Doctor Clearance prior to riding again. Deduction of 27cents for the win was announced on correct weight with all monies invested on LIGHTLY GREY be refunded. The Trainer of LIGHTLY GREY Mrs K Hill was advised the gelding is barred from racing until the gelding has successfully passed two (2) official barrier trials.

RENTRAP (Jky L Appo) jumped away awkwardly and shifted ground going out of the straight the first time and remained wide throughout the race.

MOONJUMPER (Jky I Coombes) shifted ground on the home turn.

The winner RENTRAP was swabbed.

Race 3. CHARLIES TAVERN MAIDEN PLATE 1000 MTRS

(1) MONTVILLE LASS (2) TRADIES HOPE (3) THERMAC (4) VISONA ROSE

MIDNIGHT PASSION (App C Priest) was dislodged at the top of the straight when the mare turned quickly on the way to the barriers. App C Priest took a harmless fall with MIDNIGHT PASSION completing a complete lap of the track. MIDNIGHT PASSION was declared a late scratching at 2-45pm with deductions of 13cents for a win and 12cents for a place announced on corrcet weight with all monies invested on MIDNIGHT PASSION be refunded. The Trainer of MIDNIGHT PASSION, Mr G Hay was advised a warning is placed on the mare.

MADEMOISELLE FIFI (Jky S Bayliss) was slowly away.

VISONA ROSE (Jky K Sawyers) and ROAD FROM HEAVEN (Jky L Appo) came together on jumping away.

ROAD TO HEAVEN and MADEMOISELLE FIFI raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

MONTVILLE LASS (Jky A Nicholls) shifted ground on the home turn.

The winner MONTVILLE LASS was swabbed.

Race 4 GYMPIE PRINTING CLASS B HCP 1000 MTRS

(1) ALL DIEHARD (2) MIDNIGHT AGENDA (3) MIDNIGHTMARE (4) DARTH

Stewards approved App T Huxham to replace the injured App K Mizobe as the rider of ALL DIEHARD.

WHOSH (Jky I Coombes) and REBEL THUNDER (Jky S Bayliss) were slowly away.

ALL DIEHARD (App T Huxham) and WHOSH were wide early.

The winner ALL DIEHARD was swabbed.

Race 5 DAVISGLEN PTY LTD OPEN HCP 1000 MTRS

(1) MONTE PRIMO (2) PICKASTAR (3) MR MONTGOMERY (4) RED ROLLER

As no App Jky were available Stewards allowed Jky D Gill to replace App K Mizobe as the rider of MR MONTGOMERY.

THROUGH THE WAVES (App T Huxham) blundered on jumping away.

BRAIN EXPLOSION (Jky I Coombes) raced wide in the middle stages of the race.

PICKASTAR (App C Priest) and THROUGH THE WAVES (App T Huxham) shifted ground on the home turn.

BRAIN EXPLOSION returned to the enclosure with blood visible in both nostrils. As this is the second time recorded Trainer Mr K Munce was advised the gelding is banned for life from racing (Noted on Papers).

The winner MONTE PRIMO was swabbed.
