Race 1: EARTHLING GROUP PTY LTD CLASS B H’CAP - 850M

EXCITED DREAM - Began very awkwardly and lost considerable ground. Trainer D. Wilson was advised a warning would be placed on the mares barrier manners.

WORTH THE TIME - Raced wide throughout.

MARREW MIA - Saddle slipped back near the 500m placing the rider at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.

CAPTAIN TANGO - Hung in under pressure in the home straight.

Race 2: STEELY’S WINDSCREEN AMBULANCE MAIDEN PLATE – 1030M

MANY SUGGESTIONS - Fractious during parade dislodging rider. Ms A. Van Der Sanden declared herself free of injury and fulfilled her engagement. Trainer K. Hill advised stewards it was now her intention that the gelding would now be sent for an immediate spell but was none the less advised a warning would be placed on the geldings pre-race manners.

SHE’S A UNIT - Fractious in the barriers beginning very awkwardly.

GAYNDAH - Near the 700m had to steady to avoid the heels of DENARTE which shifted in. Rider M. O’Brien (DENARTE) was advised to show greater care when shifting ground.

MONO GIRL - Tailed off. Rider reported that the mare never travelled comfortably throughout the event. Trainer N. Boyd was at a loss to explain the poor performance and gave an under taking advise stewards of any findings that may come to light in the oncoming days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Ms Boyd was advised a warning would be placed on the mare regarding its poor performance.

Trainer N. Boyd advised stewards in coming days that the mare has pulled up fine however was going to be sent for an immediate spell following the disappointing performance.

M. Crawford, rider of MISS ALEXANDRA was fined the sum of $100 in that he used his whip in excess of the permitted five times prior to the 100m.

Race 3: FOUR MILE SANDSTONE OPEN H’CAP – 1030M

UNIQUE FUSE - Slow to begin.

Race 4: ENVY HAIR DESIGN & SPA QTIS BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP – 1170M

AGENT ALBERT - Raced wide throughout.

LITTLE MISS MOLLY - Raced wide throughout. When questioned into his riding of the mare over the final stages of the race rider P. Romeo stated that his instructions were to lead however it was unable to muster enough speed to do so and as a result raced very wide and was a spent force rounding the home turn and for this reason did not place the horse under any pressure over the concluding stages. His explanation was noted.

SPECIAL ROSE - When asked to explain the poor performance rider reported the mare resented the kick back when racing back in the field. Trainer B. Smith was at loss to explain the poor performance and advised he would report anything that may come to light in the oncoming days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Trainer B. Smith advised stewards in coming days that the mare pulled up fine after the disappointing performance.

ISIS SPINNER - Rider reported the gelding was reluctant to stretch out in the early stages of the race which resulted in it racing further back than anticipated.

Race 5: EG DESIGN 100 CLUB CUP BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP – 1600M

SIALIA MAGIC - Broke through the barriers prior the start and was quickly restrained, after being examined by the veterinary surgeon was cleared to start. Began awkwardly.

HIMALAYAN WOLF - Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout and compounded in the home straight.

PRINCESS PRICKLE - Rider stated the mare resented the kick back and as a result was reluctant to stretch out which was a telling factor in its poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore leg Trainer P. Jenkins was advised that a vet certificate would be required prior to racing again.

SAURIMO - Hampered on jumping.

DANGEROUS LIGHT - Hampered on jumping.

BALINESE BOY - Hampered on jumping.
